Jaune's Pineapple Jam Part II Ch 16.

Lisa Lavender pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration as her Scroll rang relentlessly.

It hadn’t even been an hour since Willow Schnee posted that groundbreaking update, and her people were already pestering her for information!

“Did you know about this?!”

How the hell would she know?! Just because she was the one that revealed their unconventional relationship, doesn’t mean she had full knowledge of said relationship!

“Are we going to interview them?! What’s the plan?!”

She wished she had plans! She didn’t even have any of their personal contact information!

“We need to get ahead of this! What else do we know about them?!”

Gods, she was asking herself that very exact same question!

All she could do right now, however, was read and reread that damnable post again and again, and try to parse any hidden information she could.

And yet……one damnable phrase threw her mind for a bender.

P.S. More to come.

Taking the phrase at face value, it would be easy to think that it meant more details to come. But the fact that it wasn’t explicitly said so sent Lisa’s journalistic brain into spirals.

Because really, more what?

Details?

Women?!

People?!

With Jaune Arc and his ladies, who in the world knew?!

Lisa choked back a shriek, leaning forward over her desk as she pulled her hair this way and that.

She was an assassin trained spy for crying out loud, she should not be having trouble with a post like this!

Yet despite the headache she could already feel coming, there was someone else who had it worse than her.

“Neo! Talk to me, Neo!”

That’s right, Neopolitan, Roman’s partner-in-crime, sat on her bed with glassy eyes while staring at her Scroll.

It had been months since Lisa pseudo adopted her on and off lover’s maybe pseudo sister and other lover.

Their relationship was complicated to say the least, but as both women who cared about Roman and survived Browning’s Prep Academy, they had a special bond that cannot be put into words. It’s why she agreed to put up with her in the first place.

When Neo only kept her eyes on the Scroll, however, Lisa realized her mistake.

Neo was fucking mute!

Lisa’s palm met her face as an agonized groan left her mouth.

She must be more frazzled than she thought if she was forgetting those kinds of things!

In her defense, however, Lisa had been running herself ragged covering everything and anything about the Vytal Festival just to stay ahead of the pack.

After all, if she wanted to be the world’s number one newscaster, then she had to be on top of things!

That obsessive dedication, however, has come to bite her in the ass. Her fatigue was at an all-time high, her composure was in tatters, and her professionalism was nowhere to be found as she sighed at Neo.

But as Neo’s eyes slowly turned towards her, Lisa reeled back from the slowly brightening, mad gleam in them.

“Neo, whatever you are planning, I want no part in it.” She said preemptively.

Neo, however, only pouted adorably as she widened her eyes at Lisa.

She will admit, she almost crumbled, but she didn’t graduate as Valedictorian from Lady Browning’s Prep Academy for Spies and Assassins for nothing.

“Look, Neo. Putting you up is one thing, but being involved in your enterprise? That’s another. You know, I have a life in the limelight now.” Lisa sighed, looking away from Neo to avoid her disappointed stare.

Her eyes widened, however, when she saw a flicker of white at the corner of her eyes.

It was Neo wearing a wedding dress.

The minx had used her Semblace to convey her plan, and boy, what a plan it was.

“You want to get married?!”

Lisa could not believe her eyes as Neo only smiled impishly at her with a light blush on her face while raising her Scroll.

“To Jaune Arc?!”

Neo nodded excitedly, but Lisa could only think of one reply for that.

“Why?!”

A careless shrug, however, was all she received, to which Lisa could only sigh at.

“Have you forgotten you’re a criminal? You’d be arrested before you even walked the altar.”

Neo, however, only used her Semblance to disguise herself as a beautiful woman with black hair and green eyes.

She posed cutely, and Lisa will admit it, no one would recognize her as the bloodthirsty criminal that she was.

Lisa knew, however.

Just like how she knew that there was more to Neo wanting to marry Jaune Arc than whimsical fancy.

There was a method to her madness, despite the careless attitude she liked to portray.

Whatever her reason for wanting to cleave herself to Jaune Arc, however, Lisa did not know.

What she did know, however, was that Neo had more pressing problems to think of than getting herself hitched to Jaune Arc.

“What about Roman? Are you giving up on him?”

Lisa watched Neo’s eyes darken at the question before vehemently shaking her head.

At least they were united in that, even if Lisa didn’t know how they were going to free Roman, if they even could.

Neo seemed to think they were able to do so, at least. What with her having a mysterious plan that she refused to share with Lisa.

Still, she watched as Neo shoved the Scroll towards her before signing with her hands.

She frowned at the message before tilting her head as she realized what Neo was trying to go with.

“You….want to use Jaune Arc as a backup plan?”

Neo nodded excitedly as she continued to sign some more.

“His influence, at least? Or that of his wives to give Roman a lighter sentence?” Lisa asked as she thought about it.

She wasn’t going to call it bad. Just thinking about those involved told her that they might indeed have that kind of influence.

But there was a problem.

For Neo to even propose a lighter sentence for Roman Torchwick, she would have to expose her real identity to Jaune Arc and the others.

In the first place, was it even possible to add another woman to Jaune Arc’s list of conquests?

The plan relied too much on what ifs and should bes for Lisas’s taste.

Surely Neo knew that as well. Surely she knew the chances of success were far-fetched.

Neo, however, only smiled confidently at her, and Lisa had to tilt her head at that.

“How do you plan on getting with him in the first place? It’s not like he’s just going to accept the first woman he sees as his fourth wife.”

Neo winked, bringing a finger up to her lips in a shushing motion before signing nine letters individually.

B L A C K M A I L

“Blackmail?!” She shrieked incredulously, and Neo immediately made kissy faces.

“You kissed Jaune Arc?!”

What happened next, however, shocked Lisa to her core. Neo brought both hands up in front of her mouth, each making a circle with her fingers before twisting both of them while bobbing up and down.

Lisa had no words.

How?! What?! Why?! When?!

More importantly, why was she only finding out such juicy information right now?!

Neo laughed silently at her expression, but Lisa could only shake her head incredulously at that.

“Okay, that could work. It might get your foot in the door, so to speak, but what are you telling me this for? What do you want me to do?”

Neo only raised an eyebrow, a smirk on her lips as she looked at Lisa meaningfully.

She only rolled her eyes at that.

“I’m not saying I’m in yet. You know how it goes. I need to know what you want me to do and what’s in it for me.”

Neo hummed thoughtfully, tapping a finger to her chin before her eyes brightened mischievously. Her smirk turned salacious, and her fingers moved to sign quickly to Lisa’s surprise.

Lisa, for her part, only raised her eyebrows before a squeal suddenly left her mouth.

“Inside information about their-excuse me, your relationship?! Exclusive interviews?! And…..And pictures?! Videos?! Pictures and videos of what?!”

Lisa’s eyes swam at the possibilities.

Neo was basically handing her everything she would ever need to be Remnant’s most sensational journalist for a long time!

After all, Jaune Arc and his wives were basically going to be Remnant’s hottest topic for a long time, what with all his current wives-to-be being who they were!

The Heiress of the SDC!

Menagerie’s First Daughter!

And the Darling of Mistral!

They were basically showbiz royalty!

And Neo was offering Lisa to become the foremost journalist of that royalty.

She could only react in one way at that.

Her hands landed on Neo’s shoulders as her eyes gleamed with mad delight.

“I’m in! What do you need me to do?!”

Neo smirked, and her hands moved to give Lisa a rough outline of a plan.

Even as she took in Neo’s signs, however, Lisa’s mind was already far ahead in the future.

She could already see it. Her, walking into a mansion bigger than the Schnee’s, having nice casual conversation with the Arc family, and then children, lots and lots of children who she could interview and might even mold into her own personal showbiz project.

Oh yeah, life was good.

Yet before long, her analytical side born of her training as a spy and assassin kicked her optimistic side to the curb.

Competition was going to be rough.

Pyrrha Nikos surely had her own brand manager to arrange interviews for her.

Weiss Schnee has an army’s worth of lawyers, and probably already has a list of trusted interviewers to ask them safe questions and control the narrative.

Blake Belladonna, meanwhile, was basically Princess of the Faunus. Lisa doubted her parents would allow her to be interviewed by a human, even if that human was Lisa herself. More than likely, they’d again stick with someone close, if not a Faunus.

Truly, her way on the inside was going to be Neo.

Yet as Neo continued to smile and sign at her, Lisa couldn’t help but worry.

They thought of this mad plan to put Neo in as a wife, the question was, however, who else was thinking of doing the same thing?

—-------

Cinder Fall frowned as she looked at her Scroll.

Even before THE POST came out, Cinder had been thinking of their next plan of action.

This was just a reminder, a pebble compared to the problem she had on her mind right now. Namely, Jaune’s dealing with Roman.

They knew Jaune Arc, Winter Schnee, and Roman Torchwick spoke together thanks to Watts, but they didn’t actually know the details of the conversation.

Did Roman give up their identities or not?

Should she continue her mission, or should they flee Beacon and hole up in Vale until the tournament?

On one hand, her mission was still not complete. They had not yet concluded if Jaune was Ozpin’s new host. While what they had seemed to point towards that direction, Cinder wanted to at least speak with him before forming a conclusion.

Despite the risk, she wanted to be sure that she wasn’t throwing away a potential source of power just because of half-formed guesses.

Things would be better if they just knew what exactly Roman talked about with Jaune Arc.

Cinder tsked.

It was just typical of Watts that his report on the dealings within General Ironwood’s flagship was helpful, but not that helpful.

Now she was in a dilemma, and her team’s reactions were not helping.

“They’re getting married?!” Mercury shouted, his wide eyes fixed on his Scroll as he laid on his bed.

“Cinder, what are we going to do?” Emerald asked, turning towards her with worried eyes, while Cinder only frowned.

She had previously expressed her interest to join their relationship, but that was before she found out Jaune privately negotiated something with Roman.

She feared that Roman had given her identity up, but if so, then why were they not being apprehended?

Was it just a trap to lure them in deeper, or did they truly not know her identity?

And that was before the prospect of marriage was even brought up.

What even was marriage?

Was she even ready for one?

No, no. Cinder shook her head immediately. She had to stick with the facts.

She only needed to find out whether Jaune Arc was hosting Ozpin or not, and cause chaos during the Vytal Festival.

The prospect of marriage was secondary, if not impossible in the first place, so there was no reason to think about getting married.

Yet somehow that particular thought irked her, and Cinder’s mind couldn’t help but play back one particular memory from the Breach.

Jaune Arc leaping up into the jaws of a Grimm while glowing with power just to protect her.

Cinder’s heart immediately throbbed in excitement at that.

The power she could have with Jaune by her side was exciting enough that it made the decision for her.

They were going to stay in Beacon.

Still, just because they were going to stay in Beacon didn’t mean she was going to neglect her secondary mission.

Already, plans and schemes formed inside of her mind. Jaune Arc and his wives might very well be the most influential conglomerate to be formed.

Now, how could Cinder take advantage of that and make things more chaotic?

Her answer came, however, when her Scroll dinged and a message came from someone she was with familiar with.

“I’m here.”

—----

“They’re in Vale.” Sienna Khan breathed deeply with wide eyes, because there on her Scroll was a picture of Ghira, Kali, and Blake posing with humans.

Worse yet, they were posing with Schnees! Two of them, at least!

She never even thought it was possible with what the Schnees did to their people.

Just the image of them standing together was enough to incense the Faunus in their organization.

Already, she could hear cries of anguish, vows of vengeance, and promises of violence ring out from outside her throne room.

But while Willow Schnee’s announcement might have been taken negatively by her compatriots, to Sienna Khan, it was a blessing.

Ghira and Kali Belladonna were in Vale together with their daughter.

Sienna could not stop the smile that bloomed on her face.

It was here!

It was finally here!

This was her chance to consolidate her power in Menagerie!

Thoughts and plans came to her mind like a lightning flash.

It would take at least a week for the Vytal Festival to end. Assuming that Ghira and his family would only return to Menagerie then, Sienna would still have another week for them to arrive back on the island.

That gave her two weeks to travel, consolidate, and control.

It was a pretty short time considering she would have to move not just herself, but as well as part of her organization from Mistral to Menagerie.

More than that, the core members and her personal guards at least had to come with her so that meant Mistral would be left with basically a skeleton crew and new recruits.

Could she really afford to leave Mistral to the hands of someone she could not really trust?

Sienna thought about it, but the prize to be able to establish herself in Menagerie where there was a working economy and a stable workforce was too good to pass up.

She could basically supply the White Fang with the foodstuffs and rations they needed, if not equipment!

And while it might not make them a formidable army, it would at least improve their logistics situation that was already hanging on by a thread through donations and public support.

That left her with only one problem, however.

Who was going to be in charge of Mistral in her place?

Whoever it was needed to be strong enough to defend their people, had the authority and backing to rally their troops, and the presence of mind to keep their people supplied.

Sienna thought and thought some more, and immediately arrived with one answer.

There were none.

Even Adam only fulfilled the first two out of the three, and he was on his way to Vale in the first place.

Sienna frowned, biting her lower lip before sighing resignedly.

She walked toward the door and opened it a smidge to call for a guard.

If there was no single person that fulfilled her criteria, then perhaps she could use two.

“Send for Deery and Perry, and be quick about it.”

Was it irresponsible of her? Maybe.

Hasty? Absolutely.

But as she watched the guard run frantically to find the people she sent him to, Sienna did not give a care.

It was a small price to pay to get Menagerie under control.

A hysterical chuckle, however, left her mouth at that thought.

It seems Adam wasn’t the only one who was leaving Mistral irresponsibly.

—--

Righteous anger and just fury.

Those were the emotions Adam Taurus was currently feeling as he looked at his Scroll.

The Belladonnas standing with humans?

Worse, they were standing with Schnees?

It was disgusting.

Utterly infuriating.

And absolutely outrageous.

It made his blood boil just thinking about it, and he couldn’t help but see red as he made another vow in his heart of hearts.

He will avenge the Faunus for this faithless betrayal the Belladonnas had done to them.

It’s a good thing Vale was in sight, because it was already the third vow he had in his list next to ending Jaune Arc’s happiness and making Blake Belladonna pay.

Now, how to sneak in 50 veterans from Mistral and 500 volunteers they picked up along the way?

Adam released a sigh as he realized the answer, and he moved his hands to send a message through his Scroll to one person he was familiar with.

“I’m here.”

—--

“I’m here to book a room for four people.”

Amity Scarlet blinked up from her Scroll towards the beautiful woman standing in front of her.

As a receptionist from Shangrila, a five-star hotel in Vale, Amity was used to seeing beautiful and well-kept people all the time.

But the person in front of her right now? She took the cake.

Black long hair, and enchanting blue eyes, framed a sharp face that took her breath away.

She was striking, that was for sure.

Amity, however, was a professional. She crushed down any lesbian thought that formed in her mind with the prejudice of a 24-year-old woman who wanted to keep her 9 to 5.

“Name?” She asked, looking down to her computer to input the woman’s answers.

“Bleiss Gelé.”

Amity inwardly shrugged at the Atlesian sounding name. With the Vytal Festival in full swing, Shangrila has seen their fair share of foreigners so it wasn’t so strange to see an Atlesian try to book a room with them. It was actually somewhat of a miracle that they weren’t fully booked yet, but it was pretty damn close.

“We have two rooms available for your number of people. A penthouse and a-”

“The penthouse please.”

Amity blinked at the immediate answer, but she continued on as she marked the room as occupied in their system.

“How long would you like to book the room?” She asked politely, but Bleiss’ answer only made her raise an eyebrow.

“Just for tonight until tomorrow afternoon.”

“So short?”

With the Vytal Tournament happening soon, people would typically book for a week to see it through the end.

Bleiss, however, only nodded at her.

“We have prior arrangements.”

“I see. A complimentary breakfast will be delivered to your room in the morning, and checkout is at 5pm” Amity replied, handing Bleiss a key, which she took with her dainty hand. “Do you have any bags we can help you with?”

“No need, I can take it there myself.” Bleiss shook her head before a hesitant look came on her face. “ My friends would be following after me, we would appreciate your discretion.”

“Of course, ma’am. Please enjoy your stay.” Amity closed her eyes, bowing as she frowned to herself.

It wasn’t always they were explicitly ordered to be discreet, but when they were, it was almost always for an eye-raising situation.

When she stood up straight again and opened her eyes, Bleiss Gelé was nowhere to be found, instead, what she saw was a Faunus walking towards.

Long legs, soft curves, white long hair, and cute cat ears atop her head were the first traits Amity noticed, and again, she had to crush any lesbian thought with extreme prejudice.

“I’m a friend of Bleiss.”

Amity frowned to herself. She didn’t understand why they didn’t just come together if they were coming in one after the other, but it was not her place to judge.

“Name?” She asked politely, what she heard, however, immediately made her snap upwards.

“Blake-”

“Blake?”

Amity’s eyes snapped wide open as she interrupted their potential customer. Horror immediately bloomed on her face as the white-haired Faunus in front of her squirmed uncomfortably.

“I’m so sorry! It’s just that I just read something about-”

“N-No need.” Blake raised a hand, and Amity could only blush in embarrassment.

Damn it, Amity! She thought to herself. Just because someone was named Blake didn’t mean they were the same Blake as Blake Belladonna, future wife of the Hero of Vale she was reading about before Bleiss came in!

Amity shook her head, bowing down in apology as she spoke again.

“I’m so sorry. What was your name again, Ms. Blake?”

“.....Himeneko.”

Amity blinked in surprise as she heard old Mistralian.

As a 24-year-old woman who read manga, Amity was naturally aware of the word, and her mind immediately translated it.

“Cat Princess?”

“Yes, that is one of the translations of the word.” Blake Himeneko blushed as Amity could only shake her head with wide eyes.

Bleiss Gelé, an Atlesian rich girl.

Blake Himeneko, a Faunus with a last name meaning Cat Princess.

And two more other people using a room for four?

Amity’s mind ran through every single scenario her hyperactive brain could think of before it crashed at the immense possibility that she just thought of.

That can’t be, right?

She was just reading about them!

Surely her mind was just playing tricks on her and attributing strangers to the people she was just fantasizing about.

Yet even as denial and shock wrecked havoc inside her body, Amity’s professional side was already making her body move in autopilot.

“Your room is here, and please enjoy your stay.” Amity’s hand reached out, handing her a piece of paper with the penthouse number in it, smiling politely as Blake Himeneko sighed at her in relief.

“Thank you.”

Not five minutes later, and Amity froze as a couple walked in while holding hands.

She held her breath, waiting for them to reach her before finally releasing it as they spoke to her.

“Hi, we’re a friend of Wei-” An elbow from the woman and the man was immediately changing his tune. “I mean Bleiss.”

“N-Names?” Amity squeaked out, her hands trembling as she tried to keep her excitement inside her.

They had black hair instead of blonde and red, but four people renting a penthouse together while arriving at different times? Amity didn’t know what to think.

No wonder Bleiss asked for discretion.

The couple’s answers only confirmed her suspicion.

“John and Pyrene Arkos.” The woman smiled at her with sharp green eyes, and Amity couldn’t help but squeak as a grin tried to fight its way to her lips.

Holy shit!

HOLY SHIT!

“T-Thank you for your patronage. Your room is here, and please enjoy your stay!”

How she managed to utter those words without squealing, Amity did not know.

But she could already feel how fast her heart was beating as she handed them a piece of paper with their room written in it.

“Thank you….Amity.” John smiled at her, and Amity swore she could have forgotten she was a lesbian then and there.

“Y-You know my name?” She swooned.

SWOONED!

Can you believe it?!

John, however, only laughed and pointed at her uniform.

“It’s in your name tag.”

“R-Right! Please enjoy your stay, sir!” Amity bowed, blushing furiously in embarrassment, while her knees shook in humiliation.

Of course, it was on her name tag! How else would he know her name without him telling her?!

As she released a calming breath to gather her bearing and straightened her back, however, she froze as she saw cold emerald eyes staring straight at her.

They were already walking past her table, but Pyrene’s eyes were locked into her as she mouthed one single word.

Mine.

-------

Ahhh, the gears are finally moving as we approach the tournament proper!

In the meantime, we'll have what is basically the calm before the storm next chapter.

I'm not sure it's going to be calm, however, because of one simple reason.

A patron asked for an orgy chapter, so we are going to get an orgy chapter with some plot mixed in it.

Comments

Oh boy, multiple parties are about to clash, and Adam knows what truly happened, truly a monster. And I don't know if Sienna is aware with what happened
