Jaune's Pineapple Jam Part 2 CH 14

“My baby’s going on a date!” Juniper cried as Nicholas patted her comfortingly.

“He’s already engaged, honey.”

Juniper, however, only cried out again.

“He’s growing up so fast! Next thing we know, he’s running away from home!”

Again, however, Nicholas Arc could only pat his wife comfortingly even as a pang of frustration panged through his heart at Jaune’s actions.

“He already did run away from home, dear. He even stole the family sword.” He gritted out, but again, Juniper only ignored him.

“And now he’s engaged to three women and counting!” Juniper shouted, and this time, Nicholas sighed tiredly.

He loved his wife, eight children and more than two decades of anniversaries proved that, but Nicholas could only cringe embarrassedly as people moved to stare at them.

Sure, they were at Beacon’s cafeteria reserved for the faculty, and while it afforded them a measure of privacy from the public, they were still in full view of teachers who were taking a break.

Already, he could see a couple of them smiling and chuckling at them.

“You agreed and gave them your blessing, dear.” He grumbled, but it was at that moment did his wife decide to heed his words and turn towards him slowly.

“I hope you’re not thinking of doing the same thing.”

He almost cursed. Of all the words he said, she replied to that?!

“I am absolutely not thinking of doing the same thing.” Nicholas answered, his lips twitching as he raised his hands up in surrender.

Juniper only peered at him for a moment before finally nodding sharply.

“Good.”

Nicholas sighed.

Finally! His wife had finally calmed down! And all it took was for her to single him out to not follow their son’s example!

A giggle caught their attention, however, and looking towards the source, they saw Athena smiling beside them.

“Well, someone’s about to be disappointed with that answer.”

Nicholas winced.

They all knew who she was referring to, and both he and his wife turned towards Willow, who was speaking to her Scroll away from them.

If there ever was someone who he could’ve thought of spending the rest of his life with other than Juniper, then it would’ve been her.

Alas, that ship has sailed.

They were very different people then with different goals in life. And now, years later, they were even more different.

Not even mentioning the fact that they were both married to others, he felt like he didn’t have it in him to build another life with her.

It would be a mistake to pursue her, much less think of having a relationship with her.

Willow turned towards them then, as if sensing the stares they were throwing at her.

They watched as she whispered hastily at her Scroll before turning the call down.

She walked quickly towards their table, and even from their distance, Nicholas could see the worried look on her face.

“It’s Jacques.”

Yup, that would do it.

They all looked at her worriedly, but Willow only held up a finger before fishing out a vial from her pockets.

Their noses curled, but her gaze only sharpened as she popped the lid open.

“Don’t look at me like that, I need this. You would need it too if you had to talk to my husband.”

“What did he say?” Nicholas asked, wondering what Jacques could have said to have Willow drinking again.

“He was asking for an update.” She answered as she sipped the vial empty.

“What did you tell him?” Nicholas continued, his face frowning as he thought of the other man.

Jacques Schnee. The richest man on Remnant, and a supremely annoying man, based on Willow’s own words.

Willow could only sigh at him, however, before her hand rose up and rubbed her forehead.

“He wants me to take Weiss home immediately, I said I was working on it.”

Somehow, Nicholas doubted his son would let that happen. And if his son didn’t want that to happen, then it was his duty as a father to back him up. He’d fistfight Jacques Schnee if it came down to it, not that it would be hard if it came down to it.

“What do you plan to do?” Juniper piped in, worriedly looking at Willow, who herself was looking hesitant.

“I think…..I think we should announce their engagement. Get Jaques on the backfoot, get things moving enough, and pretty soon, he won’t be able to do anything about it. Especially while we are here in Vale.”

“Won’t he just issue a statement publicly?” Athena piped in, but Willow only shook her head at that.

“He won’t. He’d rage, threaten, and be furious, but he can’t gainsay me publicly. I still am, Willow Schnee. My name is still in the company, it would be a PR nightmare if he argued against me in public.”

A confident smile graced Willow’s lips, and it made her look wonderful. Nicholas almost swooned, but there was only one problem. He felt his wife’s thigh push against him, and he gasped as he opened his mouth to speak.

“What about in private?” Nicholas asked, and this time, he watched as Willow looked away from him.

“That’s…..another story.” She answered, a hand raising up to her cheek.

Immediately, the tension rose around their table.

Jacques Schnee…..had hit his wife?

Nicholas couldn’t help but clench his fist tightly at that, but before he could even say anything, he felt his wife’s hand land comfortingly at his thigh.

Calm. That was what she was saying.

He released a deep breath he didn’t know he was holding, and he looked at his wife in gratitude. Juniper smiled at him before turning back to Willow.

“Don’t worry, Willow. He can’t touch you here.”

It was the softest he had ever seen his wife interact with Willow, and he watched as Willow herself looked gratefully at Juniper.

“Thank you, and yes. As long as we are here, we are safe.”

Nicholas almost breathed a sigh of relief, but alas, things would not be so easy.

“Won’t he just strike at you another way? I may not have met the man, but I know Jacques Schnee did not get to where he is without using some unscrupulous means.” Athena asked worriedly, and…..that was a good point, actually.

Nicholas could only watch as Willow suddenly paused hesitantly.

“Whitley…”

There was a moment in time when silence reigned on their table as Nicholas processed the name.

Whitley” He murmured thoughtfully before shaking his head as he finally realized Willow’s problem. “He’s your son, isn’t he?”

If Jacques Schnee had access to her son, then he could see how it was a problem. He could only watch, however, as Willow winced painfully at him.

“Whitley…..Whitley is a lot like his father. I would’ve loved to take him here, but Jacques argued that there were already enough Schnees in Vale and that someone had to learn the family business.”

Nicholas could see just how much it pained Willow to say that. Already, he could see tears prick at her eyes. Admitting her son was a lot like his father must’ve felt like she was giving up on him.

Nicholas wanted to comfort her, to tell her it wasn’t true and that she shouldn’t give up on him.

But it was not his place.

While he knew of Jacques, he did not know anything about Whitley. Whatever he could say now could only be taken as insensitive and hollow, and all he could do at this point was nod sympathetically with her.

“I’m sorry.”

Willow only cringed at him at that before shaking her head.

“Don’t be. I believe I have some fault in it as well. I was not…..always there to take care of them.”

Inevitably, an awkward silence fell before them for the simple fact nobody knew what to say to Willow. They could all see just why she was not able to take care of her children, and despite the affection he still held for her, he knew her words to be true.

Athena, however, Gods bless her soul, cleared her throat to move matters along.

“Regardless of what we think, we still need to speak with the Belladonnas and then the kids about it.”

Seeing the opportunity, Nicholas pounced on the change of topic.

“Ghira and Kali are still on the way back from Vale.” He added, and relief flowing through his body as he watched Willow nod along.

“The kids, at least, are all here in Beacon. I believe Weiss is showing your daughters around together with Pyrrha.” She said as she discreetly wiped the tears off of her eyes.

Nobody said anything about her action, however, and even Juniper played along by turning to lighter topics with a dramatic sigh.

“Gods bless your daughters, I could finally have a break from taking care of our children.”

The tension broke, and just like that, they turned the topic into something more humorous. Nicholas resisted the urge to grin as he saw both Willow and Athena chuckle at them.

Playing along with his wife, he rolled his eyes dramatically while patting her hand.

“Parenting, dear. The word you are looking for is parenting. You parent our children.” He drawled, restarting a long-running tiff between the both of them.

Predictably, Juniper scoffed and lightly slapped his shoulder.

“Don’t take that tone with me. You get to leave for work, have some time for yourself, while I stay and take care of your children.”

Nicholas, however, only grinned while waggling his eyebrows.

“And I love you for that. Besides, if I remember correctly, you’re the one who asked me to put them in you.”

“Nicky!” Juniper screeched, blushing furiously as she slapped his shoulder once again. This time, their eyes locked with one another as he grinned at her.

“What? It’s true. Don’t tell me you didn’t enjoy making them?”

Juniper sputtered, red adorning her beautiful face, and all Nicholas could do at that moment was bask in his wife’s beauty.

It was at that point, however, that the world reminded them that they were not alone.

“Oh my!” Athena gasped, covering her mouth even as a coy smile broke out on her face.

“Ahem!” Willow coughed, narrowing her eyes at them while crossing her arms.

Nicholas could only blush, his wife already covering her face with her hands as she groaned embarrassedly into them.

“Athena! Willow! I-uhm-” He tried to sputter an apology, but Willow only raised a hand to cut him off.

“No need to explain. May I just ask you two not to flirt so publicly?” She grunted exasperatedly while Athena laughed.

“Here I thought you were going to try for a ninth right in front of us!”

Again, Nicholas could only blush at that, his wife, however, had a completely different reaction.

“I don’t think I have it in me for another one.” Juniper paled, suddenly holding onto her tummy before glaring at her husband.

“R-Right, sorry.” Nicholas gulped, but once again, the world turned over its head as Willow cut in with a raised eyebrow.

“I don’t suppose you’d consider a surrogate?”

“”Absolutely not!””

Both his and Juniper’s voices rang out, him, blushing, while she was glaring. Willow, however, only shrugged wryly at them.

“Well, a girl had to try.”

He sighed, before smiling tiredly at her. At least the gloom of the previous conversation was gone. Juniper, however, only went red with anger.

“You’re married!”

“I think we’ve already established it is an unhappy one.” Willow only waved a hand with a wry smile on her face. “Besides, I thought the father was a lot like the son.”

“Ahh, no. Jaune is….unique in that regard.” He replied awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head as Athena began to laugh at him.

“I’ll say, who else can you think of that could replicate his accomplishment?”

None, that was who. In the first place, nobody even thought anyone could do something like what his son had done before.

The achievement, however, left Nicholas with a mixed feeling of pride and awkwardness.

On one hand, his son was accomplishing amazing things even without speaking of his relationships. On the other hand, he did all of that after running away from home.

They still hadn’t talked about it, but he knew it was only a matter of time that they did. Nicholas dreaded it somewhat, but as a father, he knew it needed to be done.

It was at that point in their conversation, however, did they suddenly get interrupted by the arrival of familiar faces.

Nicholas watched as cat ears bristled up into the air, while Ghira and Kali Belladonna returned to them stone-faced.

Smiles died, and their laughter petered out as the women on his table turned to where he was staring at.

“I take it things didn’t go smoothly on your end.” He noted in greeting, watching Ghira’s lips turn down into a frown.

“It was……not good.” Kali answered hesitantly, her husband sighing deeply as he took a chair across from them.

“That’s an understatement.”

“What happened?” Willow asked, but Ghira only grunted while pinching the bridge of his nose.

“I found my friend dead, killed by the White Fang.”

Nicholas’ eyes sharpened while the women around them gasped.

“Are you safe? Are we safe?”

The unsaid question was, was there going to be another Breach?

Ghira fell silent, and Nicholas could see his shoulder tense minutely, despite Kali’s comforting hand on him.

Nicholas couldn’t blame the man if he got angry, the fact that the organization he built was the one causing trouble must have pained him deeply, but the situation they were in did not allow Nicholas to soften his words. He refused to let his family be in danger if there was another risk of the White Fang causing trouble. What that meant for the Vytal Festival, he did not care.

Thankfully, Ghira’s shoulders slumped dejectedly as he slowly nodded.

“We are. As far as we know, they’re only targeting certain Faunus and their families.”

“B-But I thought they were supposed to fight for the Faunus. Why target the people they were supposed to fight for?” Juniper asked, tilting her head in confusion.

Ghira, however, could only sigh sadly at her.

“Because those people are like me. They were my support here in Vale with regard to improving Human and Faunus relations.”

“It…..is highly likely that the White Fang under the leadership of both Sienna Khan and Adam Taurus already see us, and people like us, as enemies.” Kali added hesitantly while her husband nodded beside her.

“We’ve sent a report to the authorities, but….crimes against the Faunus have notoriously been overlooked or at least not the priority for the police department.”

“Perhaps we can try bringing it up with Headmistress Goodwitch and General Ironwood? Surely this falls under their jurisdiction, what with them keeping the peace.” Willow suggested, and this time, Ghira did at least shrug at her suggestion.

“It’s a start, but I doubt they have the resources to look into this while already being busy with the security. At most, they might be able to send a token force to investigate, but as you know, investigations take time, time we do not have.”

“What about the news? Surely a sudden death during the Vytal Festival would be something to report on. That should get more resources poured into this, right?” Athena piped in, but Ghira only shook his head at that.

“If they were celebrities or important people perhaps, but…..with how things are after the Breach, the Council probably already has a ban on news that could negatively sway the public’s emotions. I doubt you’d find anyone willing to report on such gruesome crimes.”

Nicholas nodded sympathetically, he could see how keeping the populace happy would prevent another Grimm incursion, but this only meant that the injustices committed against others would be overlooked.

As sad as that was, however, Nicholas had priorities, namely, his family.

“What about our children? If you say the White Fang are targeting those that would support improvement between Human and Faunus relationships, then that means our children are targets.”

Ghira only steepled his hands together at that before delivering the news Nicholas dreaded.

“I won’t lie. The truth is, they might very well be the biggest targets right now.”

Nicholas couldn’t help but clench his fist at that, but before he could even stand to march his family home, Ghira raised a hand to stop him.

“It’s alright. I was already prepared for something like this. Right now, one of my bodyguards are tailing them.”

“A bodyguard? One bodyguard?” Nicholas asked incredulously, but Ghira only shrugged at that.

“I didn’t want to overreact. Now that we have a clearer view of the situation, however, we can talk about what happens next.”

It wasn’t ideal, but it was better than nothing. Nicholas let out a breath, sitting back down just as Willow moved to answer.

“Good, I’ll bring the matter up to Winter as well, perhaps she can help assign more guards to our families. In the meantime, there’s something we want to share with you as well.”

“Not bad news, I hope.” Ghira winced, but this time, it was Athena who answered.

“It’s about the wedding.”

Kali clapped, a sigh of relief leaving her mouth as she smiled at her husband.

“Finally, something better to talk about.”

Before they could move on, however, Juniper raised a hand hesitantly.

“Wait, there’s something I need to know.” She said before turning towards Ghira. “This bodyguard you have trailing our children. Is he or she good enough to protect them?”

“While I won’t say she’s the best fighter we have, I will say that she is one of the few who benefits from additional abilities given by her Faunus features.” Ghira answered immediately, but Juniper was still not satisfied with that answer.

“Can we trust her though?”

Nicholas winced, it was a blatant accusation and doubt of Ghira’s abilities to control those under his command, but given that his old organization was already out there wrecking havoc without his blessing, perhaps Juniper’s worries were not unfounded.

Ghira, however, only hummed thoughtfully at them before finally nodding decisively.

“Don’t worry, Blake knows her well.”

—---

Thunk!

Ilia Amitola slammed her head into a tree as everything finally dawned on her.

What had she done?!

She…..

Thunk!

…watched….

Thunk!

…Blake have sex!

Thunk!

And then proceeded to participate in said sex by pushing and pulling and Jaune Arc’s hips!

Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!

Her head slammed into the tree so fast that anyone looking would have pegged her as a woodpecker Faunus instead of a chameleon one!

She couldn’t stop, though, she had to get the memory of what she had done out of her mind! Failing that, she could just continue and end her misery.

Alas, she failed in doing either one because by the time she managed to deplete her Aura and a small crater had formed on the bark in front of her, Blake’s voice cut through the noise.

“Alright, we’re dressed now!” Blake called out.

Never had Ilia thought she would ever wish to ignore Blake, but now……

How could she even face her?!

She groaned loudly, letting her head slam into the bark one final time with a small whimper.

Gods, could someone just kill her already?

She wasn’t going to resist, promise!

Alas, her prayers went unanswered.

“Ilia? I know you’re there. We could hear you, you know?” Blake shouted once again, and Ilia mustered the courage to finally face her friend once again.

“I-I’m here.” She gulped hesitantly, turning around to face them as her scales went bright red.

There was a moment in time where they all just looked awkwardly at each other. Blushing, ashamed, and embarrassed, it fell to Ilia to break the silence.

“H-Hi.” She squeaked, but her mortification only grew when it was Jaune Arc who smiled at her while Blake kept her glare.

“Hello.” Jaune greeted, and Ilia resisted the urge to bare her teeth at the human.

Her scales still rippled minutely, however, showcasing her agitation for all to see.

“Why are you here?” Blake asked, her eye twitching as Ilia squirmed uncomfortably.

“I…am here to help?”

Blake, however, only hissed at that.

“Help with what? With fucking me?!”

“S-Sorry!” Ilia winced, closing her eyes and bowing her head down in shame as she took the full brunt of Blake’s anger.

Before Blake could lambast her with her words further, however, another voice interrupted.

“Blake.”

Ilia opened her eyes to see Jaune Arc holding his lover’s wrist tightly.

“It’s okay. Let her speak. I know she crossed a line, but we’re okay right now. Nobody’s been harmed.”

It galled Ilia to be spared from Blake’s fury by a human, but seeing that Blake was heeding his words, she could only stay silent.

“Why are you really here, Ilia.” Blake groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration as Ilia took the opportunity to gather her wits.

“Your dad asked me to be your bodyguard.” She answered honestly, after all, what else could she say? That she was spying on them by her own free will? Not only would it be embarrassing, but it would also be a lie. Knowing Blake, however, Ilia knew she would chafe at her father’s actions.

“Bodyguard? I don’t need a bodyguard.” Blake predictably frowned, but unfortunately for her, Ilia had the perfect answer.

“Well…..the last time they left you alone, you ran away.”

“Okay, I deserved that.” Blake winced before tilting her head at her in confusion. “But why would you hide yourself from us? Why not just tell us in the first place?”

This time, Ilia was unprepared, she could only squirm uncomfortably as she looked away from Blake.

“I didn’t know how to talk to you.” She started.

It was the truth, the last she and Blake talked with each other was before Blake left Menagerie with Adam. She was hurt then, not understanding why her friend didn’t even bother to speak with her. Had she but asked, then Ilia was completely willing to go with her.

But Blake did not ask.

No, she just left.

Left her Ilia, her family, and their island with nary a word.

Blake, however, did not seem to understand Ilia’s feelings.

“You hid from us because you didn’t know how to talk to me?” She asked incredulously, and part of Ilia was irritated at that.

Ilia, however, only shook her head, frowning as she mustered the courage to look Blake in the eye.

“Your father also insisted I keep myself hidden from you so as not to…make things complicated. We both knew that you would have tried to sneak away from any bodyguard assigned to you.”

Blake winced at that, but as expected of what Ilia knew from Blake, she only shook her head and dug her heels deeper.

“Oh, it got complicated, alright. You……fucked me! With my boyfriend!”

“Sorry. I thought he was choking you.” Ilia winced, even as Jaune began to hold his lover back comfortingly.

“Come on, Blake. She was just worried about you. Now why don’t we all just calm down and talk to each other like civilized people. No need to shout or hurl insults.”

It galled Ilia to once again be spared from Blake’s wrath by Jaune Arc, but she merely nodded her head even as Blake whirled around to face her lover.

“You’re too trusting, Jaune! Didn’t she have a knife on your throat?!”

Ilia’s throat closed up at that, and she watched as Jaune Arc’s blue eyes turned to look at her. It was true, she did have a knife against his throat. If she was in his position, she wouldn’t forgive her, either.

Jaune Arc, however, was not her as he only shrugged casually, much to her disbelief.

“I mean she did, but she took it off and here we are, safe and sound.”

Ilia could only shake her head slowly at that with wide eyes.

“Damn, you really are trusting.”

Blake whirled towards her, her eyes narrowed, but once again, Jaune held her back. Ilia watched as for a moment, Blake ground her teeth, but eventually, she released a frustrated sigh and turned towards her lover.

“Alright, fine. You win.” Blake sighed before turning back towards Ilia. “You’re forgiven just this one time.”

Ilia didn’t know what to say to that so she only nodded slowly as she shakily released a breath.

“Thank you, Blake.”

Blake, however, only narrowed her eyes at her.

“Don’t thank me. Thank Jaune.”

Ilia froze at that, her eyes snapping towards the man in question. Jaune, however, only smiled at her awkwardly while rubbing the back of his head.

“Well, I guess we better get to know each other then.” He started before walking towards her and reaching out a hand. “Hi, I’m Jaune.”

Ilia could only blink at the hand in front of her before her eyes landed on his wide smile.

“I know.” She nodded tentatively, seeing Blake crossing her arms together behind him.

Jaune, however, only kept his smile at her.

“And you’re Ilia.”

Ilia’s eye twitched, but upon seeing Blake narrowing her eyes at her, she sighed resignedly. “Yes, my name is Ilia Amitola. It….is nice to meet you.”

She slowly reached her hand out before a gasp left her mouth as Jaune suddenly grabbed hers in a firm handshake.

“Great, we’re friends now.”

Through it all, he kept his smile aimed at her, and Ilia could only blush as she heard Blake’s voice from behind him.

“Oh, I think you’re a little closer than friends.”

There was a wry smile on her face, but before Ilia could even say anything to deny Blake’s words, Jaune Arc was already laughing while bashfully rubbing the back of his head.

“Haha, I guess so.”

“Don’t tell me you’re going to seduce her too.”

And just like that, Ilia and Jaune jumped away from each other with wide eyes.

“Uhm….I only like girls.” Ilia piped up, killing off any notion of Jaune Arc seducing her.

Blake, however, only blinked at that even as Jaune sputtered denials in front of her.

“I thought you were bisexual.”

Ilia flushed, her scales turning red before her shoulders hunched into themselves.

There was a moment in time when she thought she might be attracted to both boys and girls, but that moment has passed. It was an embarrassing situation for all, however, when she realized that.

“I mean, I wasn’t sure before, but I can confidently say I only like girls now.” Ilia tried to shrug casually, but Blake only looked at her skeptically.

Once again, however, it was the man she currently hated the most that saved her from the woman she loved the most.

“You’re not going to seduce Blake away from me, are you?” He asked worriedly, but Ilia could hear the joking tone in his voice.

As bad as the words were, however, it was what Ilia needed to snap out of it. It was as if cold water showered her face at Jaune’s question, and all she could do at that point was look at him with a flat stare.

“I can’t. She likes guys.”

Contrary to her expectations, however, it was at that moment did Blake piped in with a rebuttal.

“Excuse me, I like both girls and guys.” She announced with a hand to her hips as she raised an eyebrow.

Ilia’s eyes could only widen in shock at that, and even Jaune Arc snapped towards her in surprise.

“”Since when?!””

“Since Pyrrha.” Blake answered matter-of-factly before turning to Jaune with a raised eyebrow. “And you, why are you surprised? You’ve seen me with her.”

“I thought Pyrrha was the exception.” Jaune blushed, but Ilia could only stammer in shock as the image of Blake Belladonna and Pyrrha Nikos together invaded her mind.

Blake, however, would only blow both of their minds even more.

“Well……, it’s not just Pyrrha anymore. Patch was a lonely place without you.” She said bashfully, and Ilia watched as Jaune blinked back at his girlfriend.

“Wait what?”

“Let’s just say, Weiss and I have gotten to know each other even better.” Blake chuckled awkwardly, and if Ilia was already stammering at the idea of Pyrrha Nikos and Blake together, then this time, she was gasping for air.

“You and Weiss?!” Jaune shouted incredulously, his eyes wide as Blake only nodded shyly.

“Me and Weiss.”

A Belladonna and a Schnee, doing ungodly things together. Ilia could only think one thing at that.

“That’s hot.”

The words left her mouth before she could even stop them. Immediately, both Jaune and Blake looked at her in embarrassment, but now that it was said, Ilia had a more pressing question.

“Who tops?”

Silence greeted her question, and for a moment, Ilia thought time had stopped, that was of course, until Jaune Arc himself looked at Blake with wide curious eyes.

Blake, however, only answered with a smirk.

“Me.”

The world snapped back into focus, and for some strange reason, Ilia wanted to raise her hand for a high five. Instead, however, she only smiled.

“Nice.”

That broke the tension between them as Blake blushed and Jaune bellowed loudly.

“Shut up.” Blake muttered, elbowing Jaune but he just laughed louder.

“What? It’s nice to see that I’m not the only one getting hit with that.” He smiled at her, and Ilia could only watch as Blake suddenly squirmed bashfully at him.

“So….you’re okay with me and Weiss?”

“I’m more than okay. I just hoped you had both told me instead of keeping it a secret.”

“We didn’t know how, but well…..yeah.” Blake shrugged, and it was then did Jaune begin to step towards her.

His arm rose up to touch her cheek, and Ilia watched as Blake leaned into his palm.

“Well, as long as it’s with each other and we are all honest with one another, then I think that’s okay with me.”

“Oh? Are you sure you’re not just saying that because you want to watch us?” Blake replied, raising an eyebrow even as Jaune leaned towards her.

“I mean, I’m sure that’s a factor, but I just want you all to be happy.” Jaune answered, it was then, however, did Ilia decide to clear her throat loudly.

“Ahem!”

They snapped away from each other as if electricity zapped them both, Ilia, however could only look down with a blush on her face.

She knew they were affectionate, but they didn’t have to rub it on her face!

“Look, I get it. You like like each other, but there’s no need to flaunt it in my face.”

“Right, sorry. I….uhhh….kinda forgot you were still there.” Jaune coughed at her embarrassedly.

Ilia, however, only scowled at him at that. Was she really that forgettable that he could forget she was there while he was flirting with Blake?!

“Fuck off.”

The words left her mouth, even as Blake snapped at her with a glare.

“Ilia!”

“Right, sorry.” She cringed immediately, though the anger in her heart was still not calmed.

“Look, can we just get back to the academy? I have to write a report to your parents.” She said impatiently, Blake, however, only narrowed her eyes at her.

“Report what?”

“That…you’re safe.” She answered hesitantly. Truthfully, she didn’t know what she was going to tell the chief, for now, however, all she could do was watch Blake sigh towards her.

“Luckily, in more ways than one.” Blake replied, holding a palm to her tummy.

Ilia’s eyes widened, and she and Jaune immediately blushed at that.

Blake, however, only shook her head at them.

“Nothing about what we just did, okay?”

This time, it was Ilia’s turn to look incredulously at her.

“Of course, I’m not going to say anything about what we just did! Did you just expect me to walk up to the chief and tell him I had sex with his daughter through her boyfriend?!”

Blake reeled back at her outburst, blinking as if she could not fathom Ilia had just talked back to her. Jaune, however, only chuckled at her.

“She’s out of line, but she’s right.” He pointed out, and Ilia would have really appreciated the gesture if he had not suddenly narrowed his eyes at her while putting an arm over Blake’s. “You’re still mine, though.”  He said possessively, and at that point, Ilia could only groan in jealousy.

“Ughhh….can you please not rub it in my face. This is hard enough as it is.”

“Look, you’re still my friend, Ilia, but what we did today? It crossed some pretty serious boundaries.”

“I’m sorry.” She repeated apologetically. She knew what she did was wrong and fucked up, but what happened has already happened. She’ll just have to chalk it up to teenage hormones and do her best to not make it happen again.

Yet, upon seeing her remorse, it seemed like Blake finally decided to have mercy on her.

“Enough, we’ve heard enough of your apologies.” Blake sighed before slowly shaking her head with a small smile on her face. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but maybe we were lucky it was you who was guarding us.”

“What?” Ilia blinked, and even Jaune reeled at his lover in shock.

“Could you imagine if they had sent someone else as a bodyguard? We would have given them a show!” Blake continued, answering both of their questions as Ilia gawked at her.

“So just to get things right, you’re lucky that I’m your bodyguard then?”

“Don’t push your luck, but yes. We were lucky it was you.” Blake narrowed her eyes at her, but regardless, she nodded as Ilia began to blush.

“I…uhm….thanks.”

Her embarrassment was obvious as even her scales turned pink, it only caused Blake to sigh in frustration, however, as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

“Look, we can talk about this later, for now we need to talk with my parents.”

Blake’s words must have really dumbed her down, because Ilia could only smile goofily at her.

“There’s a later?”

Blake smiled ruefully, and even Jaune chuckled at her expression. Ilia didn’t care, however, because Blake only made her day brighter with her next words.

“Well, I did get carried away myself, and I did enjoy it so it is not entirely your fault.”

“So….there could be a next time?” She grinned stupidly, but this time, Blake shook her head exasperatedly at her.

“I just said not to push your luck, didn’t I?”

Now that was like a cold shower to her face, and Ilia reeled back in embarrassment.

“Right, sorry. Forget I asked.” Ilia cringed, but contrary to her expectations, Blake only smirked at her.

“Besides, other than me, you’d have to ask Jaune and the others for permission as well.”

“Uhm…..what?” Ilia blinked, her eyes turning towards Jaune Arc, who was also looking at her

Her future, the possibility of….doing certain things with Blake again, was in the hands of this human.

No, three humans now that she thought about it.

Jaune Arc, Weiss Schnee, and Pyrrha Nikos.

On one hand, Ilia was ready to beg. On the other hand, it was to humans.

Teenage desire and Faunus pride warred against each other.

But before her internal conflict could resolve itself, she watched as Jaune Arc shrugged carelessly.

“Welcome to the family, I guess.”

And boy, what a welcome it was.

—-----

“So, yeah. Welcome to Beacon!”

Weiss breathed a sigh of relief as she heard Ruby shout enthusiastically towards Jaune’s sisters.

Weiss Schnee was a social creature, but handling five sisters? Even she had to have some limits. So she was grateful for the fact that she could sic Ruby towards them.

Still, that did not stop them from turning towards her with questions.

“So where did you sleep with our brother?” Bleu, the one with the glasses, asked flatly, and it was as if time stopped, and all Weiss could do at that point was sputter while Pyrrha gasped in surprise.

Ruby, however, had a different reaction than them.

“Ugh, please stop. I don’t want to remember where they were doing it.” She groaned piteously, her palm meeting her face before tiredly dragging it down.

Weiss immediately snapped towards her team leader with wide eyes at that, but it was too late. One of Jaune’s sisters was already pointing a finger straight at Ruby.

“Aha! So they were doing it!” Jade, the one who was seemingly the most clingy with Jaune, shouted accusingly.

Weiss cringed. They were lucky that they were back in the dorms after touring the Arc sisters. This way, they at least had some measure of privacy as Weiss shrieked at her team leader.

“Ruby!”

Immediately, Ruby’s eyes widened as she had realized what she had done.

“I-ahhh-I think I hear Nora calling for a pancake eating contest! Bye!”

They could only watch, however, as she suddenly turned into a burst of petals and flew across the hallway.

That only left her, Pyrrha, and Yang who volunteered to keep an eye on Ruby, with the Arc sisters.

Predictably, their eyes landed on the blonde brawler of the team, who at that point, was already sweating with a pale face.

“Ahhh, I should probably go with my sis-”

“Not so fast, Yang. You can’t run away forever.” Pyrrha interrupted, catching Yang by the scarf she wore on her neck nowadays.

Yang choked, but Weiss only sighed tiredly at her as she pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration.

“Look, Yang. If you want to join us, then you at least have to make the effort to show you’re not a coward.”

That seemed to trigger something in Yang as she suddenly whirled towards her with blood-red eyes.

“Who says I’m a coward?” She growled, but Weiss only stood unimpressed as she raised an eyebrow.

It was at that point, however, that they were reminded that they were not the only ones there standing in the hallway in front of their rooms.

“So you’ve all slept with our brother?” Mauve, one of the twins, asked with wide eyes while the other one, Violet, squealed at them loudly.

“How?! When?! Where?!”

Weiss could only reel black, their blue eyes overwhelming her as she tried to put her hands up in between them.

“I-I don’t think those are appropriate questions for someone your age!”

“”No, we’re not!”” They said at the same time, but this time, it was Pyrrha who blinked in shock at them.

“But you’re just 13!”

They heard a laugh then, and turning towards the source, they saw Merigold Arc, the oldest one present, smiling at them.

“Ah, right. I suppose this isn’t normal for everyone else, but us, Arcs, tend to learn about sex very early. We’d have to, considering what our parents could suddenly get up to.”

“Yeah, it was kinda hard to explain why we have to get out of a room if not everybody understands what mom and dad are about to do.” Jade added, her eyes turning to Bleu who was beside her.

Bleu only shivered, however, a traumatized look coming over her face as she remembered a particularly traumatic memory.

“The kitchen, oh gods, I could still see them in the kitchen.” She whispered with wide eyes as Mauve shrugged beside her.

“Yeah, the kitchen is never safe when mom and dad are in there together.”

“Nowhere really is. Jaune told me they’ve been everywhere around the house.” Violet finished with a nod, her eyes boring into Weiss’, who could only gape at them.

Pyrrha, however, had a completely different reaction.

“Well, that’s something to look forward to with Jaune.” She whispered wistfully, a hand coming to her cheek as a heated breath left her lips.

Weiss immediately snapped her head towards Pyrrha at that.

“Pyrrha!” She scolded, it would have been fine if it was just the two of them, but they were in front of Jaune’s sisters!

Pyrrha’s eyes widened at that, her hand immediately covering her mouth as she blushed in embarrassment.

“S-Sorry!” She squeaked out, but it was too late.

Everyone had already heard what she had to say.

“W-Wow, P-money. I knew you were thirsty for Jaune, but I didn’t know you were this thirsty.” Yang stuttered, attempting to soften the blow as the Arcs groaned loudly.

“At least we’ll have more nephews and nieces.” Merigold piped in with a pale face, her eyes zeroing on to Pyrrha’s tummy.

“S-Sorry, it’s the hormones.” Pyrrha squeaked out embarrassedly, but Merigold only shook her head at her.

“You really do love our brother, huh?”

Now that got Pyrrha to forget her embarrassment and smile softly.

“With all my heart.” She whispered, getting approving nods from the Arcs.

That, however, immediately got them to turn at Weiss, who was already fidgeting uncomfortably.

“And you?” Jade asked, her eyes narrowing at Weiss’ nervous reaction.

The answer should have been yes.

Easily.

But Weiss…..Weiss wanted to be honest with her future sisters-in-law. They were going to be family, after all.

“You….uhm…probably all already know that I didn’t like your brother at first.” She started hesitantly, getting all the Arcs to raise their eyebrows at her, even as Pyrrha shifted to hold her hand comfortingly.

“But?” Bleu asked, trailing the word as Weiss chuckled awkwardly.

“But….I guess he won me over with his genuineness.”

It was the truth. Out of everything Jaune had done, from being there for her after Neptune, to fighting off the White Fang and defending Vale, it was his genuineness that truly won her over.

He never really pretended to be anything else with her, and while he had a brief stint of trying to present false bravado, his intentions were straightforward and true to his nature.

The answer, however, seemed to be unsatisfactory to the Arcs.

“That’s it?!” Mauve yelled.

“His genuineness?!” Violet repeated.

“So let me get this straight, you fell for our brother because of his genuineness?” Jade asked incredulously.

Finding the Arcs unbalanced, Weiss let a smile grow on her face as she gave them a nod full of confidence.

“Yes, that is what I said.”

“Surely you don’t expect us to believe that?” Bleu raised an eyebrow, Weiss, however, only raised an eyebrow back after finding their disbelief mildly irritating.

“Having a large penis helps too, but I don’t think you want to talk about that.”

It was a low blow, but it got the job done of having the Arcs give her space as they suddenly reeled away from her with pale faces.

“Yeah, no, that level of detail is something we have no plan of hearing about.” Merigold waved a hand while Jade nodded with her.

“We just want to make sure you’re not taking advantage of him.”

At that, Yang, Weiss, and Pyrrha blinked in shock.

“Not to be vain, but…shouldn’t it be the other way around?” Weiss asked, but Merigold only laughed loudly at her.

“Pfft, I know my brother. He could hardly seduce a woman! Which means, you’re the ones who seduced him!” She finished with a grin, and Weiss, Yang, and Pyrrha could only look at each other at that.

“Well, Pyrrha did like him first.” Yang ventured, passing the baton to Pyrrha, who only shrugged.

“Because he was genuine?” Pyrrha answered, a small smile on her face as she tilted her head knowingly at Weiss.

Now that got every single Arc in the vicinity once again to groan loudly, their eyes snapping straight to Weiss in accusation.

Weiss could only sputter at that, but before she could defend herself and proclaim it as truth, her Scroll rang loudly.

Saved by the bell.

Literally.

She gave a small sigh of relief, smiling ruefully at the Arcs in front of her as she fished her Scroll out of her pocket.

But as she looked at it, her eyes widened as she saw a message from her mother.

Dear Weiss, we request your presence along with your cohorts in the Teacher’s Cafeteria immediately.

She frowned at the message. She was not an expert in casual familial relationships, but she knew that this was not an example of that.

It was stilted, awkward, short, prompt, and formal.

She didn’t know what to make of it.

Still, it’s not like she could blame her mother.

This was perhaps the first time they had messaged each other through a Scroll without using other people or making a call directly. Weiss, herself, didn’t know how to write a message to her mother.

Case in point, she didn’t know what to send as a reply other than a quick ‘Yes, mother.’

She turned to Pyrrha for help, but she only saw the redhead reading her own Scroll with a raised eyebrow.

“Are they calling for you too?” She asked, and Pyrrha nodded.

“To the Teacher’s Cafeteria? Yes.”

Well, that answered that. Not knowing what to reply to her mother, Weiss took a deep breath and pocketed her Scroll. Her presence would have to be the answer to that.

“So….do I come with you for this as well?” Yang asked, prompting Weiss and Pyrrha to look at each other unsurely.

The answer came, however, from another source.

“Maybe she can show us the sparring rings? Dad never really wanted us to be exposed to the Huntsman life, but it would be nice to see how and where our brother trains while we are here.” Bleu suggested, getting mixed reactions from the other Arcs.

Before Weiss could dwell on that, however, she heard Yang bellow out a laugh while punching her fists against each other.

“Now you’re speaking my language! Come on, sisters from another mother! It’s time for you to see how badass us blondes could be.”

At that, whether they wanted to or not, all of the Arc sisters were pushed along by Yang.

“Thanks, Yang.” Weiss sighed.

“Take care, you all.” Pyrrha called out.

And after various versions of take cares and farewells from the Arc, Weiss and Pyrrha were left alone by their lonesome.

“What do you think they want to talk about?” Weiss ventured, looking at Pyrrha, who only shrugged at her with a small smile on her face.

“It’s probably about the wedding. Mom said they sent a message to Jaune and Blake as well.”

Weiss sighed at that, linking arms with Pyrrha as they both walked towards the Teacher’s Cafeteria.

“I hope this didn’t ruin their date. We even did our best with his sisters.”

“There’s nothing we can do about it now, but come on, Weiss. Don’t tell me you didn’t enjoy spending time with our future sisters-in-law?” Pyrrha nudged, giggling, as Weiss couldn’t help but let out a chuckle.

“I did, but I don’t think I could spend an extended period together with all of them.” She admitted, shaking her head as she looked at Pyrrha’s green eyes with a tired smile on her face. “Five, Pyrrha. There were only five of them today, and already I feel so tired.”

“They did have a lot of questions.” Pyrrha grinned back, nodding as the both of them giggled at each other.

“They did, I wonder how Jaune managed to survive with seven of them for years?” Weiss asked wistfully, to which Pyrrha only shrugged with a smile on her face.

“I’m sure we can ask him later. For now, why don’t you tell me about what you guys have been up to in Patch? We haven’t really had time alone with each other.”

Weiss blushed at the question. There were a lot of things that happened in Patch. Her and Blake. Her and Blake and Yang buying….something. Ruby finding that…..particular something. Ruby’s father walking in on them fighting for that….something.

The point was, there were a lot of somethings they did, and a lot they could talk about.

None of them, however, were appropriate for conversations out on a public walk.

So Weiss Schnee only fanned her face as she gave Pyrrha a brittle smile.

“Oh, this and that. It would be better to tell you later.”

Pyrrha raised an eyebrow at that, but thankfully, she was content to let Weiss be with a shrug and a smile on her face.

For now, they had a much more pressing concern because when they arrived at the Teacher’s Cafeteria, they expected a discussion among adults.

What they saw, however, was a standoff.

Between Jaune and his father.

-------

A quick rule of thumb when identifying Jaune's sisters is to use the color of the rainbow, ROYGBV. Their names are actually just different ways to describe the colors of the rainbow from red to violet.

Here are their names and personalities once again:

Rouge Arc - 23 years old, rebellious, first one to leave home, at odds with their father, sympathizes with Jaune. (Jaune thinks she's a Huntress but she's actually just an actress playing as a Huntress in a teenage show.)

Saphron Arc - 21 years old, independent, lesbian, supports Jaune's dreams by giving him money to run away and tips on how to reach Vale. (She did not expect he would steal the family sword.)

Merigold Arc - 19 years old, responsible, and currently the 'mom' of the group when mom is not at home, wants Jaune to be happy but would rather have him home safe. (Resents Rouge a bit for not being the responsible eldest sister.)

Jaune Arc - 18 years old.

Jade Arc - 16 years old, mischievous, protective of Jaune, a bit of a brocon. (scared away girls who used to like Jaune. Currently thinking if she can scare away his girlfriends but unlikely. Reluctant but accepts their relationship if they can make her brother safe and happy.)

Bleu Arc - 15 years old, nerdy, competetive, brutally honest at young age when it came to Jaune's chances to being a Huntsman. (Scared that she might lose her one and only brother if he continues to be a Huntsman.)

Mauve and Violet Arcs - 13 years old, cute, innocent...not, they want their big brother to be happy, idolizes him. They will ship Jaune with anyone and everyone. (Jaune's number 1 supporters.)

Comments

Finally got a moment to sit down and read, and boy things are getting interesting, I wonder what the standoff is about between Jaune and his dad, I mean seriously what is going on this time! I swear if it's more bullshit then Jaune will need to beat Nicholes ass just to drive the point home. Also, hopefully something can be done about Jaques as well, so that Willow can finally get out of that stupide loveless marriage. And I didn't expect for Ilia to join the Harem in a roundabout way? I honestly didn't think she would to be honest, though I do agree with Jaune it would be hot watching Blake and Ilia go at themselves especially if he gets to watch, a lot of guys love some lesbian action and if Jaune is with any of the other girls then they can keep each other company, and I would think that Jaune and Ilia would have a proper threesome with Blake as well or any of the other girls. Though a part of me hopes that Jaune and Ilia accidently get into a drunken mishap like with what happen between Jaune, Blake and Pyrrha, and Ilia ends up learning that she enjoyed doing it with Jaune, and learns that she's Jaunesexual, meaning she will do it with every women under the sun and Jaune since he's the only exception to the rule, much like what Coco learn in that smut fic with Jaune called "the Horney." But that's just wishful thinking I guess, though to be honest with you if it were me, I would have just paired Coco and Ilia up together, so that way both girls get a partner, but that's just my opinion. Anyway, good work as always mate and I'm interested to see what happens in the next chapter.
