Speaking of luggage and alcohol did you ever hear the story about Mark Twain aka Samuel Clemens when he was traveling overseas. As the story goes Mark Twain never traveled anywhere without his trust Conklin fountain pen, and an ample supply of his favorite cigars, and a goodly supply of his favorite sipp’n whiskey. Anyhow on his journey a customs agent starts going through suitcases and steamer trunk and comes across a case of whiskey and on top of it was a neatly folded Sleeping Shirt. The Custom’s man look at Twain and says What do we have here? To wit Mark Twain replied that article of clothing is my Sleeping Shirt and below it is my Night Cap. Needless to say the Custom’s man let Mark Twain and his luggage and his Night Cap enter the country without any further delays or silly questions.
