vimeo is a bit harder to use than YT, but once you figure it out it works well, plus it already has a decent mobile app, dailymotion seems to be easier to use and would probably be a lot more lax on your content (i.e. you could post your vids uncensored and i doubt the dailymotion staff would give a flying fuck), downside being that (at least to my knowledge), dailymotion doesnt have a mobile app

I hear the folks at Utreon have pretty good heads on them and their plan for taking some of YouTube's market share makes good sense from a practical/business standpoint. Not sure if they can do it but it's the most feasible strategy I've heard yet. They're not total free speech but they are pro-free speech. (They wouldn't give two shits about a foul-mouthed Canadian beating on sacked out trucks. They've been reaching out to gun channels to host content over there, as evidence that Utreon is not run by a bunch of cucks.) Not allowing EVERYTHING is good for the platform in the sense that they'll actually be able to monetize their content. Their moderation is community driven by the users and not tailored by liberal-lizards with algorithms that feed on advertiser spunk. Advertisers pick what types of videos they want to advertise on and creators can pick whose ads they want on their videos. Users can subscribe (like patreon) directly to creators as well. Also they can automatically import your videos from YouTube when you sign up to be a creator, which is fuckin' massive time save! I'd do that at the least and see if you get any traffic over there. Also, like someone else said, don't abandon YouTube. Use it to reach new viewers with the un-greased videos and then direct them to your patreon and the greasy versions somewhere else.
