Bonus Beginning Bodyscapes
Added 2023-11-30 00:56:28 +0000 UTCAaah, when we started shooting, I insisted I'd not be comfortable showing nipples or anything else that gets considered sexualized. Yet, here we are! As the shoot progressed, I realized it captured something I had hoped to get the chance to capture in my work: the human body in an artistic, desexualized way. Looking over these to choose what would be my bonus pictures for those of you that give me extra support, I realize that some of them exude elements of my sexuality, and I'm comfortable and happy with that. I hope you enjoy them.
I fight to be seen as a whole human on the internet without getting reduced to an object. Maybe most of us are seeking that: to be seen wholly, including our sexuality, without being reduced to it in a sexually obsessed society. Our community looks to me as a group of people who can hold onto that complexity.

I’ve known a few people who have done full nude photoshoots and didn’t hide their scars or blemishes. Each one tells their story, or at least part of it in a small way. A doll often has few blemishes, a person does not. Never be ashamed of yourself.
