That’s not Carmela younger. That’s Carmela as a WASP

they filmed Nurse Jackie at my college while I was there. It was a trip having Edie Falco making you late for class bc you didn't know they'd be filming that day and shut down parts of the campus

Agree, excellent episode.
When I was 17 as the oldest of 6 kids in my family, my Mom (age 36) kept asking me if she should divorce my Dad (age 38), and I kept replying "No". But when I thought it got too bad, I replied "Yes" and drove her to the divorce attorney. I couldn't shake that I felt like it was me who decided for my parents to divorce.
S1 final episode – at the conclusion of that episode, the family (the 4 of them -- Tony, Carmela, Meadow, A.J.) when the electricity was out, went into Artie’s restaurant to get out of the storm, and as the 4 of them were sitting around the table eating by candlelight, Tony raised his glass and said:
“I’d like to propose a toast to my family. Someday soon, you’re gonna have families of your own. And if you’re lucky, you’ll remember the little moments. Like this. That were good. Cheers.” [Clicks of the 4 glasses]

If you want more great Edie Falco acting, check out Nurse Jackie. Shes won a bunch of awards in that show too.

I forgot how top tier the acting in this episode was damn. Hope they all got Emmy's for this one.
