I genuinely don't understand why you keep posting negative comments here. No one is forcing you to watch this show but yourself. You're complaining about one of the most prominent factors of the show. If you don't like it then just stop watching... It's quite apparent you're not even open to having an open mind about this. Clearly this show isn't for you and you're already aware of it. Move on.

Question was directed at Spencer but I don’t find it frustrating at all. And many many people don’t. I mean, that’s kind of the whole point of this type of story. If people didn’t like it then no unreliable narrator stories would be popular and there are tons of them. All I will tell you is everything gets explained in the end and all makes sense and you will eventually 100% know what’s real and what’s not. Just have some patience. Elliot literally said at the start of this season that he couldn’t trust us right now which is the show directly telling you that Elliot is going to be keeping things from us. This show is meant to make you ask questions and then pay them off/give answers much later on. If you can’t handle that then just stop watching instead of pointing out reasons you don’t like the show every reaction. We get it, you don’t like it. The rest of us do. Move on.

@Spencer You don't find it frustrating that what you're watching on screen might not be real? That makes it hard to get invested in the stakes of the story and the characters knowing 'it could have all been a dream'? For me that's irritating and frustrating. I just want to know what's actually happening and what's not.

Ironically, you might have spoiled me and some others. I didn't watch past Seasons 2 so no I don't know about what I might be spoiling. Also, I've had good chats with you before on other shows it's just the fact I'm a bit critical of this one that you're actively attacking me. Also, it's already proven since Season 1 that Elliott is not reliable when telling this story. We don't know what he did or did not do as Mr Robot. I'm not 'installing' anything. We know this already.

Your logic is seriously flawed, you're literally trying to install the idea of an unreliable narrator based off an overdosing event, which is stupid. Unless as I pointed out you're trying to make a more larger spoiler, then I suggest shutting up. Don't use your negativity as a method to ruin the series for other people by trying to spoil things or slag off the series because you do not like it. You realize that NOBODY here cares for your opinion right? We're here for LM's reactions, we're not here for your reactions - I'm certainly not. I just don't respect your approach here at all, I find it incredibly distasteful that you're trying to throw shade at the series that you don't like by either trying to make spoilers - and let's be honest those that have watched the series know EXACTLY what you're doing here.

I watch mostly live action @Dustywood. I just want to vent a bit because I do want to like this show but it's frustrating to watch it even second time around. This episode in particular reminds me of why I don't like it. Again, I'm allowed to not like it. And my take is completely reasonable. Why don't you try to discuss why you like having an unreliable narrator/this kind of story telling rather than just insulting me?

No, an unreliable narrator is frustrating for YOU. There, fixed it. There are plenty of viewers who LOVE that type of storytelling. (Also this show is not a full-fledged unreliable narrator story if you think it is then you haven't been understanding it fully which I don't entirely blame you for during a first-time viewing)

see I knew him from The Office (US) so to me it was more like "oh wow, this guy can actually act in serious roles he's not JUST a comedic actor" I was really impressed

I think that the interesting part of this season is the battle between mr robot and Elliot for control. Of course Elliot is no5 a reliable source….but it tells you about how messed up he is. For example the cement scene imo is mr robot taking control and portraying a scene that would make Elliot puke showing him that he is inside he is as much Elliot as Elliot himself

oh, definitely, the actor is making a good job. but i watched and rewatched b99 a few times with my roommates when i was in college, it's inevitable. i see his face and all i can think off is him singing rosa's name.

I’m lucky to have seen season 2 before B99, because the roles are so different that I feel like it’d be a bit hard to take the character seriously haha. I think in isolation the character is played well though

that scene of elliot puking is one if the grossest things i've watch. that vomit looked very realistic and i'm not joking when i say i almost puked while watching it. i can't see people vomiting without feeling like vomiting myself and i was not watching at the screen throughout the scene but i just watched to see if it was finally over just when elliot started eating his own puke... ugh, i feel nauseous just thinking about it. feel bad for romero, but as soon as we saw it was a flashback and it was about how he hesitated to join f society i knew he was a goner. funny coincidence, i've been listening to my playlist of musicals for more than a week now and both his daughter (jasmine cephas jones) and meryl streep, who now that i know that she's dominique's actress' mother i can't unseen it, she literally looks exactly like meryl when she was young. anyway, all this to say that now every time a song with one of them sound i think about this show. also, dominique's funny as fuck. she masturbates and can't get off and just starts thinking about the end of the world. iconic. but yeah, i agree, she is interesting and smart. she has potential to become one of my favourites. that man also had me confused as fuck. your theory about the mental institution is a bit too much, but idk, your theories are some times correct, but for the moment i don't think that's where this is going, too many things would be unexplainable as it is for now, but with this show... who knows. i feel awful for angela every second she's on screen but i also feel uncomfortable with all this situation with that man. i really hope they do something good with angela's character. ps: not gonna lie, as confused as i feel whenever he's on screen i also can't help but laugh when i remember doug judy https://youtu.be/eG9nlFahZdY

Just wanna touch base on the overdosing scene as the ladies mentioned it's "imagination" etc and Camzee above seems to think that's an unreliable narrator story, but it's neither. Overdosing or dreams when you're completely high on some sort of substance can produce strange dreams, similar to what people might experience when they have a fever and they go to sleep. The dreams will be wild, uncontrollable. It's similar also to when you stop consuming a specific substance after prolonged use, the first night of soberness you're going to have erratic dreams, and in a cosmic opposite effect - if you've been sober for a while and then suddenly take a high dosage of something you're going to have wild erratic dreams. Elliot in this case would have likely passed out during that event, and Mr. Robot would have been trying to take over to protect Elliot by masking the takeover with the cement scene (as both Mr. Robot and Elliot are high as f in this case as it's the same body / same brain), this isn't what I would call an unreliable narrator - this is quite accurate of a fever dream / near overdose dream.

LMAO. Dom thinking about the end of the world immediately after masturbating is funnier than I had ever given it credit for. I like how taken you two are with her, even if affinity for the actress and expectations for the character have played a role in it. The show does a good job of fleshing her out very quickly, like with that scene that's so vulnerable to the point of being uncomfortable but then looping around to being likeable.

Easy mistake to make. Mr. Robot counts episodes from 0 like in programming and season 2 has the first episode split in two. Which makes episode 3 titled "eps2.1_k3rnel-pan1c.ksd". Its all a little confusing. Edit: I got it wrong too, lol.
