Obanmon
Added 2020-08-11 04:05:28 +0000 UTCI had some huge inspiration for Gaenamon's missing form pretty strong this week and pretty much had this design down before the day was done. Following the Taomon trend of the Rena family I knew that the markings were going to play a pretty big part in the design, but looking over Amaterasu's design now and then, and then the Spirit Blossom Ahri skin being introduced finally pushed me over the edge. The design is quite different from the regular Tao followers, but at the same time, -almost- looks like she could fit in the spirit world herself.
Obanmon comes from Oban, a foreshortened misspelling of obangsaek, the traditional Korean color spectrum associated with the five elements. Proposal was for her to be an archer with elemental arrows.
