2025-04-20 01:43:04 +0000 UTCSorry I said I hope Eddie is in this episode and I’m so mad he wasn’t!! 😭 Regarding Bobby, everyone online was sad for a bit and now we’re all angry. The way this was done is just awful. Reading the interviews we learned the cast was against this and Bobby’s actor did not want to leave. Also Eddie not being there for an episode like this?! I feel your pain, this whole thing is messed up, I can’t believe they really took Bobby from us. I sobbed so much after watching the episode this can’t be real 😭😭

2025-04-19 08:24:21 +0000 UTCYes, this was the showrunner Tim Minnear that thought it was a "great" idea and for shock value, the actor Peter never wanted to leave, Angela never wanted Peter to leave, she tried to talk to Tim about it, same with cast, they all tried to bargain with Tim, but he didn't listen. Now everyone is upset online, got the cast crying in interviews, etc. The ratings already start going down, 4/10 for the episode on IMDB, the live ratings went down aswell, from roughly 4 million to roughly 3 million. Heres a fact, we knew this was coming since March 31th, we got spoiled because they filmed the funeral in the middle of downtown LA, the filming was leaked through live on tiktok, however, what gave us peace of mind was that the showrunner has said he never wanted to kill the characters, thats why they all stayed from the start until now (Guess he changed his mind), also one of the actors posted a video on his instagram and the script was there and hinted that bobby was gonna be alive and then the cast was still posting videos of Peter on set after filming this episode but apparently not, because after this episode, they announced the actor's departure from the show. So it seems like Bobby is really dead. It sucks, knowing that the actor himself didn't want out and the actors are upset. Angela said she doesn't see where Athena can go from here, and thats bad for an actor to say, espeially an actor that is Angela Bassett, when she says no to something and she doesn't want it, he should have listened, cause if she decides to leave, thats it for the show, the general audience is gone, Peter and Angela bought in the general audience. And the fact that both Angela and Peter are executive producers and they have no say in this just crazy. I just wished they could fix it somehow, they are already way behind on filming for some reason (can argue that its because of the LA fires few months ago but it seems like something more), sometimes they are filming episodes days before they air, i don't know what is going on. They've been renewed for season 9 but what im guessing is gonna happen, it might be announced before season 9 that its the last season, that Angela Bassett is not coming back or that she will have a reduced role for season 9 or they get canceled mid season. Anyways, great reaction, we are all sad, i cried everytime i see that last scene. Very dumb decision on the showrunner's part, if the cast is really that hurt, they might end up leaving too because the cast is extremely close.
