A word of thanks, and a time of mourning
Added 2017-09-02 17:02:48 +0000 UTCOnce again, I must thank you patrons for your continued financial support; words cannot express how much it means to me. But, this month I must ask a favour for all of you, and give me a couple of days before I send out the August rewards, as I was dealt a huge blow just last night.
Friday morning, at about 6:40 am, my younger brother was involved in a car accident. Details are scarce at the moment, but on review of the photo and news posts, it looks like he was t-boned by a car turning left at an interesection, spun out, and rear ended a light pole at what looks like to be a high rate of speed. His injuries were very extensive and had to be extracted from the vehicle. He died at the hospital before I could get there.
I am managing to cope as I usually do; zoning out and bury myself in art, my only true release, but my family does not have that luxury. I only ask that you send kind words of support for them, as they most likely need it more than I; especially my mother. I hope that in due time the hurt will stop for all of us, especially her.

I'm really sorry for your loss. This shows how people can be involved in an accident without even noticing, it could happen to anyone. I hope your family takes the hit relatively well given the circumstances, and that you all support each other and eventually get over the loss, keeping his memory within you all.
