Submission Without Integrity

The one whose words seemed strangely empty ended up being a blatant liar. The one whose life was constantly full of chaos ended up being the one who created 10 catastrophes a second.
It’s a little more complicated to spot the red flags in kink settings. Submit too soon and you lose the ability to see the first predatorial signs. Give it all too early and your life may be reduced to tatters. Offer submission to the wrong person and you may lose yourself.
Sadomasochism and bottoming are safe enough in a new and trustworthy connection, but D/s is dangerous in immature relationships. Dynamics need to mature first. Power exchange can follow, but I will never lead with it again.
The vast majority of relationships end. That’s a statistical fact. The numbers aren’t made of rose petals, but the truth is all we’ve got. I’m more backwards than most in that regard because my self-esteem is underdeveloped. I’m sure there are powerhouse subs who can get through a lost dynamic without losing their true north. I, however, am not one of them.
Subs should not be like water that evaporates when it’s spilled. We should be more like dough, with some structural integrity if we’re to outlast what dominance brings. If you arrived in this world with that integrity intact, you’re nothing like me. I evaporate like water. I don’t return to my original shape like dough.
There is nothing more beautiful to me than D/s under the right conditions. You have to create those conditions, and that takes time.
