thinking of Nicolas

Maybe you have heard of it. the great photographer "Nicolas Guerin" died this weekend.
At the time it was he who introduced me to Daria. the incredible Russian model (white skin like an albino) seen in these photos.
I had just met him and was impressed with his work. I had the chance to accompany him on some of his shoots, and in his evenings where we met the most astonishing characters of Parisian life. A great artist, with all his contradictions that ended up separating us.
I owe him great moments and beautiful encounters.
This sudden disappearance is all the more strange to me since we were the same age.

Aujourd'hui post un peu spécial.
Peut-être en avez-vous entendu parler. le grand photographe "Nicolas Guerin" est décédé ce week-end.
A l'époque c'est lui qui m'a présenté Daria. l'incroyable mannequin russe (peau blanche comme un albinos) que l'on voit sur ces photos.
Je venais de le rencontrer et j'étais impressionné par son travail. J'ai eu la chance de l'accompagner sur certaines de ses séances,et dans ses fabuleuses soirées où l'on croisait les personnages les plus étonnants de la vie parisienne. Un grand artiste, avec toutes ses contradictions qui ont fini par nous séparer.
Je lui dois de grands moments et de belles rencontres.
Cette disparition soudaine m'est d'autant plus étrange que nous avions le même âge.
