I was then working in medium format. The RZ67 from mamyia, for connoisseurs. The perfect format to compose; 6cm by 7cm.
Incomparable luminosity. And on the negative (as you can see from the result), an expanse of gray scale that has never been equaled, except with a chamber. But the advantage of the RZ is that I worked freehand, without a foot. Impossible in the room. I was even able to do some reporting with it.
It's because (or thanks) of this device that it took me so long to switch to digital.
by the way, for those who own the book "la loge des rats", you will be able to recognize these magnificent buttocks from the last page of the book

Quand je regarde cette image, je vois en premiers tous les défauts, et donc le chemin parcouru. Mais le rendu.....Car cette photo date de mes débuts.
Je travaillais alors en moyen format. Le RZ67 de chez mamyia, pour les connaisseurs. Le format parfait pour composer; 6cm par 7 cm.
Une luminosité incomparable. Et sur le négatif ( comme vous pouvez le voir au résultat ), une étendue de gamme de gris qui n'a jamais été égalée, à part avec une chambre . Mais l'avantage du RZ, c'est que je travaillais à main levée, sans pied. Impossible à la chambre. J'ai même pu faire du reportage avec.
C'est à cause ( ou grâce ) de cet appareil, que j'ai mis autant de temps à passer au numérique.
D'ailleurs, pour ceux qui possèdent le livre "la loge des rats", vous pourrez reconnaître ces magnifiques fesses dès la dernière page du livre
