Quick update about the next release

Hey everyone,

just wanted to let you know that the next update is just around the corner - I don't want to set a specific date (in fact, I should never give specific release dates again given my track record of broken promises), but all of the writing is done and the art just needs a bit of final polish. I'm about 60% through assembling everything together by adding music, character sprites, and double-checking the code for any mistakes and then it's all done. With over 65k words, this update is set to be bigger than the prologue and almost twice as big as the previous episode - and most important of all, hopefully just as enjoyable as either of them.

I apologize for the extended period of silence. I knew I had mad a promise to deliver at a certain time, but the amount of work needed kept piling up and then weeks upon weeks went went by in a flash and I did not want to come before you empty-handed. Either way, from now on I will try to provide far more regular updates on the development of the game without shoveling in release date estimates if I don't know I can keep them with absolute certainty.

And that's all I have for today - the update will be released for $5 and above patrons first before going public a week or so later, but I hope you will all find it worth the wait.
