[2025-03-12] Update on Stuff!

Hey hey, hope everyone's been doing okay this March!

Gonna give a bit of an update on what's been up and what's going to change in this side.

First off, a life update just so everyone's caught up with what I've been up to:

• I took a break as MH Wilds got released two weeks ago, which I was anticipating ever since.

• Initially I was going to start my N5 Japanese lessons last March 4th, but was moved to next Tuesday, March 18th instead.

  [2025-03-18 EDIT]: Attended my first class earlier today and boi my energy got exhausted haha, it's been a long time since I've involved myself to actually attending lessons, plus twas my first to attend online too.

• As soon as I was planning to continue on stuff last week, I experienced my right ear issue again (inflamed from prolly incorrect earbud usage + indirectly itching it from outside, ended up clogging it with dried discharge), which required me to tend to it within the week.

Commissions update:

• With the break and my ear issue, I've only been slowly progressing a pending commission at the moment (and the only one for now fortunately), but taking it slow due to my drive being wonky at the moment.

Growth drive update:

• I'm aiming to release the final part this month for Macro March, and have placed the final calculations from the engagement and the donations (Chibi-ro won by a huuuuuuuuuge margin) I'm considering to draw it like the previous part, a la strip with showing Argent first and then Chibi-ro for the finale.

  [2025-03-18 EDIT]: Given the time constraints, I'll most likely just work on one work with showcasing the two together!

Patreon side update:

• I've been liking how I post my artworks here first, and then posting its watermarked versions on social media at a later date, as it kinda gives me a buffer to be able to work on more pieces.

• Given I'm not able to create more than I am able to at the moment, I've disabled Tier 3 (Blade of the Mimic) for the meantime, and lowered the Image Packs' access to Blades of Shades and Blades of Growth.

• I'm still aiming to provide at least 1 Image Pack reward monthly, as it's something I can provide Patreon-first rewards for y'all!

• I'm considering to offer monthly simple character sketch suggestions as a perk for patrons, which is similar to the idea of poll suggestions. Given they're only going to be sketches, at least I feel it's a win-win for us both with you getting the character drawn and with me getting practice with the sketches for my other works, let me know in the comments if you guys are up for this idea!

Thank you so much for all the support despite my on-off activity! I hope I'll be able to work on more stuff here while I'm still mentally prepping for IRL stuff, as I might lean on job opportunities once I've improved my Japanese.
