I just hope her feelings for her new charge doesn't get her into trouble. I have a feeling that a caregiver's punishment would be very painful and both humiliating and embarrassing. From what I can gather from a few remarks here and there. While I don't wish it on her I wouldn't mind seeing that mistress style caregiver get into some hot water, I can totally see her crossing the line if she gets frustrated at not seeing the results she wants.

2021-02-02 22:50:35 +0000 UTCI don't know how you do it, The Shadow, but once again, I'm enthralled. You don't entirely abandon the tropes of old, but you don't dwell on them. You have intelligent, empathetic characters that the reader enjoy. I'm anxious to see where Aunt Donna will take our heroine next on her "adventure" into discovering herself.
