Added 2025-01-08 23:17:30 +0000 UTCIf you're in California, you know about the Eaton fire, which now has parts of Pasadena in either the "get your shit ready for evac" or "Leave NOW" zones. I've got a carless friend in the "get your shit ready" zone, so i'll be driving up, to convince him to leave and/or hit him over the head. So updates may be a bit delayed over the next day or so.

Wow. Well, first off, I'm glad (for admittedly selfish reasons) that your own home is not in the affected area. That said, it is very good that you are helping your friend and I hope you stay safe and do not have to try too hard with the idiot to get him to evacuate. Stuff can be replaced. Lives can't.
