Weekly Update #15

Hello! It's that time of the week for a weekly update (which is randomly Thursday, probably will change it at some point to Friday/Sunday).

Wish I could write this update under happier circumstances because there is actually a serious update. Ain't I clairvoyant for restarting the weekly updates just in time for this?

Either way. Something positive first.

Now, the main topic of the update.

I got a notification from Patreon about some content that does not adhere to Patreon's Community Guidelines. So while I emailed them for clarifications on possible solutions it's clear that *some* content will have to change now, and possibly going into the future.

Best case scenario, I'll be able to manage with some editing, worst case scenario I'll have to delete certain posts, so that my entire page doesn't get nuked. At the very least, they actually communicate and warn before taking action which already puts Patreon miles ahead of other sites.

As always, pointing out that "insert-patreon-creator" has this and that guideline-breaking content doesn't really matter. Patreon sees what they see and don't what they don't. Most likely some of my chapters got reported, 99% chance that it's the royal family mini-arc that is the main issue for the incestuous implications.

It is obvious that my succubus story has always been on the very edge of acceptable and the whole setting is seeped with darkness and depravity (with inspiration coming from many dark mangas I used to read). And even though I always make sure to keep the sexual acts con, there are certainly parts that make Fifty Shades look tamer than hand-holding by comparison.

This is also one of the negatives of writing stories with heavy focus on lewd content as they get scrutinized for "immoral" content more severely. For example, if writing Erotica genre on A**zon, if the characters so much as sniff alcohol in any vicinity of sex, the story can and likely will get banned for rape. Same would not apply for other genres. But that's a tangent.

Going forward, I severely doubt I'll be able to push the boundaries as I did with Lewd Succubus. Maybe I'll need to focus more on other, a little tamer types of stories, since I doubt I'd survive repeated reports. Good thing that I've been planning that CYOA waifu collector. But that's getting ahead of myself. First need to see how it goes with communication with Patreon, and will update when there's more news.

Can't deny that I'm a little bummed out atm.
