Smiths' Daughter Design.

I've been wanting to make a daughter for this two for a long time, but now that I got into making it, I have some doubts about her design.
Jade is the inn's keeper, she's kind, caring and sweet.
John is Also kind, like a big teddy bear.
But my question is, "Should the daughter:
-Follow her mom's steps, help her in the inn, be kind, delicate. (Femenine)
-Follow her dad's steps, and help him forging stuff. (Tomboy)
It's up for you to decide :D
Note: She's going to be 18 years old.
