I was proud.
I'm really happy with how I colored the back of this postcard. I feel like the colors create a very clear difference between the world of the podcast ad and the kitchen. If I redid the front, I might use a more limited color palette across the top (for example, making the nature scene very blue since the kitchen is very yellow and earth-toned). But I saw a gorgeous sunrise photo of Trillium Lake online and wanted to try and capture the golds and pinks in the sky.
I thought about turning this next postcard into a 4-panel comic, but it worked just as well to use the "De Luca effect," drawing a couple of me's moving across one background. As long as the readers aren't confused, I'm satisfied.
