Abbott Elementary sketches
Added 2023-04-29 03:45:27 +0000 UTCIs everyone caught up on Abbott Elementary? HOW ABOUT THAT SEASON 2 FINALE?! That show is my current happy place.
I started drawing these over the past couple of months when I need a no-pressure, no-planning drawing activity. There are a ton of great faces on this show, and fortunately, lots of Tumblr fans to screenshot them.
Drawing some of these shots made me appreciate how they're staged. Three to five different people are in view, each with clear and distinct expressions and postures (which is easier to do when you have a team of actors and filmmakers instead of a lone cartoonist brain).
If you notice that there's a disproportionate amount of Melissa Schemmenti in here, that is true and I will not be taking questions at this time.
