It's not a superhero comic without a chase scene through an alley, right? (Right? I'm not as familiar with superhero comics.)
I had some fortunate timing while I was working on this page. A friend of mine invited me to an antique mall in an old movie theater in a suburban downtown...
I got impatient with shopping well before they did, so I went outside and photographed the alley next door.
I liked these old (power lines?)
I'm glad that no-one freaked out about a random lady wandering around back doors taking pictures.
I did have one fabulous find inside the store:
My friend and I agreed to joint custody of the shirt. It was the only way.
The children's theater where I work is opening a show next week, which means that a) next month is going to be hectic, and b) we took a trip to our storage unit, and I got way too excited about the old roll-up doors and dollies.

I don't think I fully captured Lillian's panic in my facial expression. Will not pivot to film acting anytime soon.
