Here's a fun game: Can you spot the differences between the final panel of this page, and the firehouse scene on page 167? (Answers below)
In the meantime, here are two more postcards from the children's theater:
I drew this postcard during Winter Break Camp, so I had a lot of inspiration for the snack time details (including how 99% of kids will happily sit on the floor in ways that would make both my legs fall asleep within 30 seconds). Also, I love the age where your wardrobe can be 100% dinosaurs or kittens, and I think we should bring that into the workplace.
There wasn't enough room in the postcard to show all the hilarious ways that kids can play with their food. I mean, there was artisanally-chewed charcuterie sculpture performance art at Winter Break Camp. I tried to pay homage with the kid in the tiara holding a piece of bologna. Also, kids are so gross. XD
Answers:
- I forgot to draw Captain Turtle's pin on page 167
- Ditto the huge sandwich that the guy on the left is holding
- The brickwork is different, and the firehouse doors are different colors
I think that's all, but let me know if you spot anything else! I'll fix it in Photoshop before we go to print.
