So, I've been working on this project almost exclusively for the past 4 months during my college spring semester.
The designs themselves were actually pretty quick to make, each one took about 2 work days I think. The reason why they took so much time is because they were part of a Silkscreen print project, where I print each of my designs by hand one color at a time. The bigger and more colors my designs had, the longer each print set would take to complete.
They also feature other creators' characters, which meant securing permissions from each of the artists, as well as negotiating with them about royalties and such. I find this kind of stuff really fun when people wanna collaborate. It's like NFTs, except good.
I really enjoyed working on this! it taught me a lot about printmaking, professionalism, working for a deadline, advertisement, gallery work, and even just basic art skills like composition.
I plan to sell these locally for right now, but hopefully I can set up a merch store where you can buy the limited handmade prints I have left. I wanna work on that sometime within the next month.
These will also not be for resale, so please do not try to take these and sell them as your own! Thank you.
