When I choose outfits for the main characters in SuperButch, I try to keep in mind that in real life, people re-wear clothes all the time. It's not a movie where they're in a different fashion-plate outfit every scene. But I also don't want to have the cartoon-character effect where everyone wears the same outfit all the time. The last time I drew Kansas in this dress, I got SO TIRED of drawing plaid over 27 pages! This time, I decided that the dress could make a come-back since Lillian bumps into her for just 2 panels. I guess a night of running from the bar-raid didn't leave any stains.
