Thanks for your patience. This page was a blast to draw, but it seemed to take forever! ...Now that I think about it, this page involved research/discussions/phone calls to my mother about head mirrors and otoscopes. Barry and I also decided to make the font for the comic a little smaller, so that we can fit more dialogue on the page. (Thanks for re-lettering, Barry!) I've also had a ridiculously eventful month.
Naomi and I went to Seattle with friends, to see a shoestring-budget, diverse-cast, free performance of The Empire Strikes Back in the park (You can still catch it on 8/24-25!)
Also, my housemate got a puppy named Sweetpea
I co-organized a "Beers n Bites" fundraiser for the theater (oops, forgot to take food-pics)
And I went to the protests downtown on August 17th
(Every report on this event should include pictures of the dancing inflatable unicorns!)
Anyway, $5+ patrons are about to get a sketchbook PDF of this eventful month. In the meantime, enjoy this new page!
