Barry and I try our best to make each interview-page interesting to look at, despite the challenge that Lillian, Alicia, and Tammy have been sitting in the same position in the same room since almost the beginning of the story, with no big actions or changes taking place.
I did have a lot of fun with this page: playing with page layout, drawing the cluttered table, and using shadows to show that some time has passed since the interview began. (I'd also painted these beautiful ink-wash patterns on the leaves of Lillian's plants, but the page looked better overall when they were blacked out. Oh, well.)
