In regards to the Nika thing. I look at this way. While she didn't think Michael loved her back, she was hopeful that maybe someday he would. Michael did save her from the sex trafficking market when he bought her freedom and never asked for anything sexual in return. Unlike every other man she's ever met doing what she was forced to do all over eastern Europe. That alone would make her very appreciative and affectionate towards Michael who is probably the first decent guy she's ever come across. So she was hopeful she could have a future with him. She assumed Sara too was a means to an end because she even helped play her with the keys last season. It wasn't until she outright heard Michael say to Sara on the phone that what he felt for her was real, that her hopes were crushed completely. Now she knows there's no chance for sure. And in that heartbreak, she was very emotional and she opted to make that decision to betray him. The reward money was the best she could ever hope to do now. Maybe it is a little stupid, but humans make stupid decisions. Especially in the heat of the moment.
