In my opinion this is when Dr Who,after 55 years...... ..... ..... continues to be Dr Who! I'm still not sure about the shape of her new Sonic,though (I mean,it seemed to be leaving the series open to all sorts of derogatory jokes from all the dissenters); but otherwise this is a decently strong opener.
