DON'T FORGET THE BIRTHDAY GIFT! | Frieren: Beyond Journey's End - Ep 14

Comments

FOR THE RECORD, Frieren said "people wont know how you feel unless you tell them" 2 episodes ago during Starks birthday, so Heiter just repeated her for that specific quote XD

Lysandia

8:05 they way Sein qualifies Frieren as a kid so quickly right after her trying to present as being older than him is still hysterical to me, he really fuckin tried

Kcosta

great reaction

Ahhh that is rad! The tiniest details have such meaning! That is so wild about the clock tower right there. Even through the vastness of time they still made that connection in that specific moment! Frieren remembering it so vividly makes it that much more important.

Wow! The call backs in this show are on another level! I love that aspect of it. It's just filled with tiny details that come back in one way or another.

The Heck Podcast

Yesss! I loved all the truths shared between them. Sein is really becoming one of my favorite characters in this show, but really all of the characters are just so good!

The Heck Podcast

This episode was filled with so much goodness and wise words by Sein. Loved the part with the ring, was just a beautiful freaking scene!

The Heck Podcast

Frieren's ring is the lotus bud and Fern's bracelet is the lotus blossoming. These show the state of the relationships, the bud a relationship that is waiting to happen, and Fern's is a relationship that is happening (sort of). 22:13 Notice the clock tower (time) is separating Frieren and Himmel in the shot.

If you go back and watch the first episode you'll notice that during the transition to the grave from the church at Himmel's funeral, it appears as if Frieren realizes/remembers something then they show the bells ringing. The bells remind her of this moment, as there were bells ringing when Himmel gave her the ring. The very next scene after Himmel is buried begins with her holding this ring and looking at it. One of the really cool call backs in the show.

Love that y’all love another of my recommends! Your reactions are hilarious and I love them I just can’t wait for one piece 🤣

Kcosta

Side note- he did free fall from that some height, with speed- and still survived

Kcosta

14:30 “warriors can’t just do that, these stories get wilder and crazier and they’re because eisen is eisen not because he’s a dwarf or because he’s strong no he’s just wild lmfao A normal dwarf could prolly do that cliff drop tbh but like it’s kinda implied he was a warrior from birth and amazing at it so like he gets random extra buffs (specifically the poison) but also is a dwarf and stronger than me” -stark, probably

Kcosta

Ugh I said that at like 4 mins but I’m about to hit 12 mins and this episode has two stories damn I forgot all the early stories are short

Kcosta

This anime is great for life lessons tbh

Kcosta

If I had to pick a most favorite episode of this show this would be it. Not because of action, drama or any such thing. Because so many truths were spoken. And there is so many freaking awesome episodes in this show!

This is such a great episode! The ring thing really gets me every time. She sees on his face that he knew exactly what that ring meant, and at the same time, Frieren is realizing her feelings but also being hit with the reality that she can't express those feelings to him because he's gone. This goes back to Sein talking about youth and sharing your feelings with people. If Himmel never told her, she was too dense to even have a clue. But it's also those emotions that have helped her grow and get closer to him, even with him gone. GOD I love this show! LOL!
