The Northerner's would be furious if he bent the knee to a Targaryen, they raised him up because they thought he would fight for the North, not to cede it to some Dragonqueen from a family they hate and who's never set foot in the Seven Kingdoms with an army of brutal fanatic foreigners at her back. Funny how Dany goes on about peace during Targaryen rule, guess Viserys never told her about war with the Faith, the Dance of the Dragons and like five Blackfyre rebellions. They probably can't hold the Rock since her Unsullied are basically stranded on the opposite side of the continent from her with no transport, they'll have to abandon.
