After Jeor joined the Night's Watch, Jorah became lord until his exile, it then passed to Jeor's sister Maege, who died in the War of the Five Kings alongside her eldest daughters, after which it passed to her young daughter Lyanna. So Jorah's cousin, who's like 9ish. Dany started in Pentos across the sea from KL, went pretty far east to Vaes Dothrak, south to Qarth, then back to Slaver's Bay. Casterly Rock is on the west side of Westeros, and Volantis is on the bottom of Essos just to the left of Old Valyria. Essos is huge and full of plenty of cultures and cities and kingdoms and empires. Valyria used to be a full peninsula but the Doom blew it into scattered, ruined islands.
