Something that this episode reminded me of that I don't think has been distinguished is Melisandre's birthing of the shadow come from her ability as a Shadowbinder, a class of warlock-types that hail from her hometown of Asshai. Melisandre is both a shadowbinder and a Red Priestess, so her shadow abilities are not directly connected to her abilities as a servant of the Lord of Light (R'hllor). Not terribly important as far as I know but I wanted to make the distinction for my own sake. Daario Naharis is skilled with both his blade and his tongue, I wouldn't count the boy out, he's a man who knows what he wants and pursues it, and no one can stop him from trying, even his own brothers in arms. The Kingsblood thing has always intrigued me, because believe it or not, Stannis and Robert's paternal grandmother was actually a Targaryen herself, so it's entirely possible that it's the Targaryen blood that makes it Kingsblood without anybody even realizing it, another of those things we just have to guess at. And of course the first act of Sam the Slayer, the man may be a coward, but he's got the first confirmed WW kill in millenia, props to the lad.
