2018-11-14 22:46:15 +0000 UTCSo much to say about this! 1) Although not a multi-doctor story,School Reunion is the first love letter to Classic Who,imo;and the first New Who story to completely acknowledge the Doctors past. 2) The fifth Doctor (although a little hyper to begin with) is far more subdued than #10 He was basically 'reserved young Englishman'. A very nice chap,loath to upset anyone and continually concerned as to whether he was doing the right thing;but extremely courageous. 3) Celery? It eventually got a sort of explanation;but it was basically a gimmick that the Showrunner came up with. 4) According to the schedule,your first 5th Doctor story will be Kinda. This is a superb and discerning choice. Most people would nominate two other highly prominent stories;but those tales require the viewer to be acquainted with the Fifth Doctor's era. Kinda is a really good (often overlooked) 'one-off'. 5) Hope you clear the copyright issues soon. And I hope they won't affect future reactions :(
