Which is a shame as the movies progressively stray further away from straight horror and getting more heavy-handed with comedy to the point that Army of Darkness feels cartoonish and/or campy in some parts

2022-09-27 04:39:03 +0000 UTCI'm a little torn by EVIL DEAD. Without venturing into spoiler territory, it's a bit of a Marmite film. People either love it or hate it. If you can flow with it, brilliant, cringry fun awaits. If it's not your thing then you might not watch parts 2 and 3 when it really starts to get legendary.
