CLUE (1985) Full Reaction!

Hey there! Thank you for being a Patron! Here's the full reaction to CLUE!

Oooo this was a fun one! It was a lot of fun to try to connect the dots right after the first kill happens, right until the very end when they show off the different endings! I feel like Tim Curry did an excellent job in his role, especially towards the end when he's running around explaining everything. Such an entertaining time, and I hope you guys enjoy!

NOTE: You follow along with your own copy of the movie; I have a little timer right at the beginning where it counts down and shows the word "play" when I myself start playing the movie. I also have a timer synced throughout the movie so you're also in sync the whole time! If you don't have your own copy, then you'll have pretty much no idea what's happening!

That's amazing! I need them to do that kind of thing again with another sort of mystery movie; multiple endings πŸ‘€ I like the last ending they showed as well! I feel it makes the most sense!

This is my absolute #1 favorite movie!! In a β€œgun-to-the-head” scenario, it’s the only film I’m positive I could recite word-for-word with 95%+ accuracy.* SO excited for the YouTube edit! *To wit, I just followed 2/3 of this full, uncut/watch-along-style reaction without actually having the movie playing alongside it [I was killing time while waiting for my flu shot and didn’t have dual-screen access], but β€œgot” EVERY comment/response :)

When this was in theaters (and yes, I remember, because yes, I am that old), there were three possible endings. Depending on which theater/showtime you chose, you would see ending A, B, or C. Part of the reason this movie didn't do well at the box office is that people were confused. Did you need to see it three times? Was "your" ending going to be any good? How could you know which ending you were going to see? These days, of course, these questions and many more would be answered by the Internet, but in pre-Internet days, people were just confused. Anyway, I saw it in the theater and got ending C, which I still think is the best one.
