What an absolutely hilarious, fun, cute Christmas movie!
The craziness that unfolded with these kids and even this family was absolutely such an amazing, hilarious time to watch. I truly understand why so many people consider this one of the best Christmas movies around; it was so much fun and I enjoyed myself immensely!!

The reaction to the duck was real. They didnโt know it was going to come with head attached. ๐ Darrin McGavin, the father, is best known to me as Carl Kolchak in the early โ70s series โKolchak: The Night Stalkerโ where he plays a Chicago reporter who investigates strange, supernatural events like vampires and zombies. It was the inspiration for The X-Files. The narrator is Jean Shepard, who wrote the stories this is based on, which he based on his life growing up.
