Finally able to resubscribe and catch up on missed episodes, yay! As a recovered heroin addict as well, I think Willow's been heading towards full blown addiction since season 3, and a decent argument could be made that she's at least been psychologically dependent on magic since season 4. Also the 'I'm just gonna take a little tour' scene was totally Willow prostituting herself for drugs magic.

If you’ve ever felt that, even if the conscious part of your brain was telling you to stop, you have felt addiction. That type of addiction isn’t as demonized because it doesn’t hurt others immediately and directly, but it’s still addiction. Also, really appreciate VillainHoor’s comment, but even still, the first time isn’t always a choice.
