I know I’m late to the party and not sure if you would even still be reading comments on old episodes, but the addition of cast members to opening credits has more to do with business than story prominence. If an actor appears in the opening credits, it typically means they are contracted to appear in almost every episode of the season (some exceptions) which obviously affects the production budget. Given that Eliza was still a minor while filming the first half of the season (she turned 18 on 12/30/1998), she could not work the number of hours that would have been required to feature Faith more prominently. This, along with the original intention of killing her character off, explains why the front half of the season would feel inexplicably light on Faith, with the back half featuring her more heavily. So basically if you thought she was hot before The Zeppo, you’re a Wesley.

2025-03-04 00:52:12 +0000 UTCOh! If you do start the Angel series, don't watch the opening credits the first episode. I believe there's some spoiler-y stuff there. After the first episode, it should be safe. Any images of future scenes go by fast without context and won't matter.

Now that this season is concluded, you can look up Richard Wilkins' background on the Buffyverse Wiki as it's really interesting, but DO NOT READ past Ascension! When you see the word "Legacy," you will want to stop, as it contains spoilers regarding things that might be heard or seen or unveiled or something, to leave that as vague as possible and not give away anything.
