I think people misinterpret Angel’s response to Buffy in the sewer. Buffy says “I want my life to be with you.” He says “I don’t.” Taken literally, he is saying “I don’t want your life to be with me” (following all of the reasons he just stated) rather than “I don’t want to be with you.”

2025-07-09 15:25:41 +0000 UTCI totally get the talk Joyce had with Angel. But the one thing I would want to say on Buffys part is : She is a Slayer. She, in all likelyhood, wont become old and gray. So her and Angel should be a thing as long as they can. Tomorrow isnt a sure thing for a Slayer. I know Joyce wants her daughter to have a full life, but her kid isnt like other kids. It may be denial on her part. Or hope.

2025-02-27 00:25:19 +0000 UTCAs for Xander, he redeemed himself in 3 ways this particular episode, although there were some immature moments. But 1) he bought the dress, 2) he kept Cordelia's secret, and 3) in the clothing shop, did you notice how he immediately got Cordy out of the way of danger and threw himself at the beast? He does have a tendency to put himself in the line of danger to protect people he cares about, and that's a stellar quality.

2025-02-26 00:51:55 +0000 UTCI totally get "right as rain." I live in Alaska in a temperate rainforest. Rain is so commonplace and normal, that I see how "right as rain" means everything is fine and normal. Now, when the sun shines, we go a little bugshit crazy, LOL. I tend to avoid sunny days. It's abnormally hot and bright. Gimme the rain or at least some nice ol' clouds blocking out the glowy, fiery orb of death! 😆 I can hardly wait for this finale (an awesome finale, I must say) and then on to Season 4, which I enjoy a lot. While Season 5 is my favorite overall, Season 4 is the first runner-up for favorite. After that, I couldn't really say which season is my next favorite as I appreciate each for a number of various reasons, so I just have the Top 2.
