Oz man...100% awesome. That sex chat he had with Willow was perfect.

2025-02-27 15:58:24 +0000 UTCI think Xander felt full of himself because he was dating Cordilla. Willow put her feelings for Xander on the back burner as Oz entered the picture and all her focus went to Oz. Willow has always been Xander’s back up for everything (I wonder how things were in their friend group when Jessie was still alive?) he just wanted his cake and ate it too. He didn’t care how it would affect anyone else where as Willow was always saying we shouldn’t do this. I’m not saying Willow is absolved of her wrongs but she was the only one really shown as feeling guilty for her actions.

2025-02-13 23:21:22 +0000 UTCI've tried to watch this several times. It freezes and won't continue. I still haven't been able to watch the whole thing. I'm presently stuck halfway-through.

2025-02-12 06:59:01 +0000 UTCThe cheater storyline, thankfully brief and now we're in the fallout phase, really bothers me more now that I went through it myself. My boyfriend ("D") with someone I considered my best friend at the time ("M"). He was the first person I had really started to have love-feelings for, that falling for someone for the first time. We were all between 18 and 24, so still rather immature, really. But the betrayal was a knife in the heart. He dumped me without warning, and at that time I had no idea that he had been cheating, and I even went to M crying and trying to figure out what had happened. The bitch pretended she had no idea what was going on, and I found out the next day through a mutual friend ("A" and still a little pissed off at him for knowing what was going on and keeping their secret) what had been going on. It shattered me at the time. I had been ready to say, "I love you," and all along I was nothing to either of them. It affected my relationships for years to come, affected my ability to trust. At least, D turned out to be a serious jerk and ended up even hitting M (she left him immediately at that), so in the end she did me a backhanded favor. I forgave them eventually, but my friendship with M isn't the same, and I'm grateful she moved away. I did forgive A as well, but yeah, I'm still a little salty about his role in that. So the cheater storyline from my perspective involves a strong level of empathy for Oz and Cordelia. While both Xander and Willow were in the wrong and we can be (and are) angry at them, the difference is that Xander is immature (as usual) and deflecting blame and trying to pretend like Cordelia shouldn't even be upset about it, like we saw in The Wish when he was grousing about the situation. Willow, on the other hand, accepts her responsibility, blames herself as she should, listened to Oz and gave him his space, and didn't engage in any further flirtation with Xander. So it's easier for us the audience to forgive her.
