2025-01-07 03:59:51 +0000 UTCHaven't watched the reaction yet, but yeah...you will notice a TON of things TVD "borrowed" from Buffy. Julie Plec even admitted to it in a few interviews and said it's because she's a big fan. I think you will notice other similarities too. In fact...each character in TVD corresponds to a Buffy character in different ways. I'll save that for the finale of Buffy to tell you how, but lets just say TVD is pretty much ripped off from Buffy.

Just fun to watch the trio's roles kinda do a 180--Buffy becoming a literal damsel in distress, Xander becoming the muscle, and Willow being the leader And in a way, Giles also did a bit of a 180 this episode too
