And everything seems to have been improved and amplified--the direction, the themes, the acting, the characters, the fighting choreography I know we're only an episode into the new season but it already feels like such an upgrade Looking forward to watching more with you!

2024-12-28 00:53:20 +0000 UTCI think you might have a point about people not just cracking open sodas like they used to, though obviously a lot of people still do or it wouldn't stil be stocked in stores. With my tabletop gaming groups, as we have gotten older, our snacks and beverages have altered. Well, there is still some sweets and sodas among the Friday group, but my Saturday group usually drinks stuff like coffee, sparkling water, iced tea, Gatorade, occasionally energy drinks, and we're snacking on sausage, cheese, crackers, nuts, fruit, and veggies w/dip more than anything else. My personal beverage of choice is coffee, with a switch to bubble tea when I don't want more caffeine. Soda is very rare for me; it doesn't make me feel well afterwards. I can take a liter of Dr. Pepper and make it last for a week or more with just occasonal sips each day instead of pouring a glass (I don't mind it flat, and I still like the taste of Dr. Pepper, but I don't want to drink a full serving at once.)

There will be a few lore/background continuity things once the show expands its Buffyverse lore, but we diehard fans tend to forgive that, lol.
