We don’t know for sure but there’s a theory that Jinx is still alive. In the end of the story, you see the large flying sail ship with the cam focused on it. In the very beginning powder sees one and says “says one day I’m gonna fly in one of these”. So it’s believed that she gets away and decides to break the cycle by leaving at the end in one.
