One of my favorite episodes of the first season. I'm *so* happy I don't have nightmares, ever. I'm a lucid dreamer, so when a dream begins to be disturbing (I'm hiding and a gunman is about to burst into the room and kill me, for example), I partially rouse myself from the dream, usually mumble something as I can actually hear myself speak in the haze of partial-waking, and go back into the dream, changing it (the gunman runs right through the room and out a second door that's now there, never seeing me). That gunman example is one of my lucid dreams that actually happened. I've been able to lucid dream since I was literally a toddler in my crib, the first one I remember, smothering all the spiders and bugs that were all around my crib. I'm very grateful to be a lucid dreamer, and I have intense, vivid, interesting dreams like movies. But if I were in this episode, it could likely pull from my pedaphobia. I've been able to work through my arachnophobia, but irrational fears are very difficult to overcome.
