We're finally back to wrap up The Vampire Diary/ Originals Universe with Legacies :)

Legacies take a certain… turn with the TVDU and something I liked and somethings I didn’t, but at least get to see more of Hope and the twins. Although I wished they had done other things for those three characters, the next bit isn’t spoilers, I’m just going to be talking about what the show DIDN’T cover and the plot potential they could have had. So, read at your behest, but idk if it counts as spoilers since this doesn’t happen? Let me know. Or don’t read incase you want to be open-minded and not have any doors closed. I may just type this again when season 4 is ending. +++ Hope - we barely explore the fact that she can make hybrids. we never get another werewolf/vampire hybrid and I think it was a missed opportunity. we also never get to REALLY explore how her classmates felt at her being a Mikaelson, it’s a big deal, they should’ve been more scared of her at times. or at least a plot where a new student was fearful or judgmental. Speaking of judgmental, the fact that the twins are siphoners is not as brought up. Sure, in the school the students have known the girls a long time and their parents are the owners/headmasters. But when the girls are outside of the school and meet other witches, there could’ve been an interesting moment where they learn just how deep the prejudice against siphoners is. Their parents never really prepared them for it since neither of them are witches. It could’ve been an interesting allegory for prejudice. And then I just detest any superhero references made. I believe they should’ve stuck to more horror-based ideas, like MG and Kaleb being young vampires or the werewolves being the least respected of the bunch.

2024-08-29 00:35:28 +0000 UTCJoined again for Legacies. I just love this show. I might be my favorite out of the 3 shows overall :) Just be aware that the end of Season 2 and Season 3 were heavily influenced by the pandemic. I think in S4 it was kinda back to normal

2024-08-26 07:43:51 +0000 UTCThe shows writing may take a few dips here and there.. but there are AMAZING moments sprinkled throughout the show that make up for the shows change in direction from the previous shows. Except for S4.. Season 4 is a straight up BANGER! in other words, I think this show is worth watching through.

They have a new Salvatore living room tour, you should definitely check that one out if you ever visit Covington again!

You didn't really say anything about him being a teacher at the school. Lizzie definitely has some little character traits from her uncle Kai lol. The dagger wasn't a part of the other shows :) little Hope was really great but Danielle is a phenomenal teenage Hope. Lots of amazing acting scenes coming up!

Life gets so crazy, and I watched 4 episodes of Shadowhunters, and tried to keep up, and I'm so far behind, but life happens. I barely remember much about Buffy, so it'll be fun to start a new show along side, Jer. Thank you for the response, Harry! Appreciate it! Hope all is well in the world! It's different then the OGs, but more of Klaus's daughter. Actress slays it! I'm so happy I'm alive for your opinions! Like politics, we can agree, disagree, and agree to disagree, and I see it coming, but I respect you, and your commitment to your fans! Hope all is well in your neck of the world!
