2024-08-02 00:11:07 +0000 UTCI mean I don't hate that they changed it up with the twinning rune, because it does make sense, but personally I like Jace and Sebastian's bond a lot more in the books, mainly because of the angel/demon parallels and them technically being brothers too, plus in the books Sebastian wanted Jace to be by his side too, he wanted both Jace and Clary to rule the world with him and had this fucked up idea and a dream of a somewhat family. Luke will get a storyline if I remember correctly, but we don't see him as much I think (I haven't rewatched the show in a while... sorry)

2024-07-31 04:56:58 +0000 UTCi haven’t read the books in a while but i honestly think i prefer clary being the one linked to jonathon. they’re brother and sister so it makes sense and jace just had the owl storyline so i think it would’ve been overkill. i’m still trying to get used to it not being will tudor lol he was a great actor. i have yet to see this second half of the season does lukes acting/the character improve?

2024-07-30 16:44:25 +0000 UTCanother fun fact: in the books the one who gets bound to Jonathan is Jace and not Clary! the show just loved giving Clary everyone's storylines for some reason also as much as I loved the actor who played Sebastian (Will Tudor), I feel like this Jonathan (Luke Baines) was just as good, and this character in general is a really good bad guy
