I really like the way that “wait what” moment played out between those three actors. It was a bit funny, but it didn’t at all feel like it detracted form the seriousness of the moment. Really well done. I fucking love Mark Pellegrino. “He likes shiny objects and magic tricks.” “Same.” Same. Bomb ass scene between Gabe and Luci. Also a bomb ass cut off point for a rewind. WAIT DID WE KNOW THIS CAS BEFORE NOW? This accent is not it. Also I think he said “your will, grit, desist to be factors” and the subs confused me. THAT HUG. And her smacking his arm like that. Ugh. So wholesome. And that interaction between Lucifer and Dean makes me CACKLE. I love it. I’m loving the fading/lowered opacity wings thing way more than I thought I would. For some reason that being Gabriel’s death felt kind of like a fizzle to me. Glad we got him for more time though. Pellegrino is too good of an actor for me to not care at least somewhat about Lucifer. He’s one of the best actor to character pairings in the show. This new angel commander voiced Ted Thompson in Bully, a game I will indeed beat someday. He also had a role on Supergirl. 17!
