Supernatural 13x10 "WAYWARD SISTERS" UNCUT Reaction

I see what they were trying here, and I would have loved it!

Love the reference to the pilot at the beginning. The alternate names for characters too. DONNA. Big pop. I fucking love her. God, man, I would have paid money out of my pocket each episode to watch this show. Shame it didn’t get picked up. Donna’s demeanour is such a fun contrast to the absolutely insane shit she does. Loads and cocks a shotgun and hands it to someone who’s never held one before like “okeydoke, here you go.” The light and airy “*there* he is” when the monster shows up, ugh. I love her. What a babyface. “Where’s Jack?” 🥺 Maybe I’m reaching but I feel like “alright girls, let’s go to work” could have been this group’s “we got work to do” and it made me emotional hearing Jody say it just then. Okay yeah, deadass don’t know why they even slowed down. It only leads to their universe, right? Weird. RIP Kaia I guess. Her and Claire could have done some cool shit together. Damn, Patience not realizing what her visions mean is rough. When we were shown what she saw, I was like “we didn’t see Claire get stabbed tho.” Big F. Kim Rhodes felt motherly ever since I saw her on Suite Life, I love that that sentiment is continuing here. Ed, the werewolf threatening the girl, played a metahuman with a particular power on The Flash. A few of the guest stars this episode were also in a series called Shadow of the Rougarou. 17!

This was an attempt at a spinoff. The fandom was split a bit on it. Some were so against it that they went and left a bunch of bad marks on it on IMDB and other places. Others, like me, wanted it to happen. We knew it was in the works, so I was really looking forward to it. I think it could have been better, but I liked the potential. Except, I didn't want it to be focusing so much on Claire. I wanted it to be an ensemble, led by Jody and Donna. For them to be the leads. I think the CW suits pressured for it to be more youth focused, to draw that audience. Well, I think the CW had enough shows that did that already. People already loved Jody and Donna. It would have made more sense for them to be the leads. Matches better with the main show. Other than that, the episode had promise.
