What an episode! Super stoked God is officially onstage and part of the story. Plus it means we get Rob Benedict back! I love him so much, and he’s a beautiful singer. Hopefully we get a decent amount of him going forward. I always thought that Chuck put the amulet in Sam’s pocket right then, but I guess it also does make sense that Sam could have kept it instead. Did we see Sam leave the room after Dean drops it in the trash before? I can’t remember. Either way, I’m glad they have it. This is kind of a bold writing decision and I’m a little surprised they actually went for it. Creating a character out of God’s sister is one thing, but saying “yeah also he’s def here too” is wild. High stakes. Both Rob and Curtis Armstrong’s performances in this ep were great. Particularly when Metatron was telling Chuck to explain why he abandoned *him*. Excited to keep catching up! The blonde deputy was previously a doctor’s assistant in 2x9 Croatoan, another evil virus. Plus she’s also written several episodes of Letterkenny and Kim’s Convenience, two Canadian shows (the latter of which featuring Simu Liu). 17!
